2nd time we visit Vasena and booking the same accomodation. This place is just fantastic! A quiet, picturesque village right in front of the lake como. Vittoria is a great host always available to answer questions and everything is so uncomplicated!

The host Victoria was very helpful and answered all our questions in no time and the apartment was spotlessly clean! Had an amazing stay.

Margaritaville is very well thought out. It is perfectly located lake side, but without the crowds of the other towns. The decor is modern and comfortable. This had been the best vacation we've ever had... We feel re-energized and back to ourselves again. Vassenna is a great location for access and solitude. We stayed at Due for a week and had everything we needed, and felt even more at home than home. Thank you to Victoria and Raffaele for being gracious hosts.

I have zero complaints and selfishly don't want to tell anyone about this place so we can come back to have the same experience.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful apartment which design is a mix of modern and traditional living space. We especially enjoyed spending time in the outside area and exploring the area with our kayak hence it’s very close to the lake. There is a local bar nearby which we regularly visited for an espresso or sundowner. The host warmly welcomed us and regularly checked in with us during our stay and was very helpful. Definitely recommend staying at Margaritaville if you are looking for a calm, small, authentic village in a less touristy area of Lake Como.

The kitchen equipment could be improved and we would have appreciated an original Italian coffee maker/machine instead of an Nespresso machine. There is very little public parking space in the village and especially during a summer weekend it might not be possible to find a free space but the apartment is offering a paid space in a garage. We initially planned to go by the ferry boat to the other villages around the lake without moving our car but this turned out rather complicated because the boat just runs in the morning and afternoon during the week and connecting times with the boats from Bellagio did not really fit. It runs more regularly on the weekends but we stayed at Margaritaville from Monday to Friday so for us it was easier using the car, especially if you are an early bird and want to be active before the summer heat.
