Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Sleep to the sound of the ocean waves. Wake and have coffee while looking out onto the ocean. Walk to Swami's for breakfast. Go out for the day and come back in the afternoon to play in the ocean until past sunset. Clean up, eat dinner and then make a fire & s'mores while the wave crash onto the rocks.Basically these were our days here in this unit. While we did the usual tourist things (Legoland, Safari Park, Birch Acquarium) the kids couldn't wait to come back in the afternoon to get in the water.The outdoor shower was awesome to get as much sand off as possible before getting into the house.The unit is awesome for a family stay. It's not totally posh but comfortable and nice. The back bedroom is smaller and doesn't have any view.(This caused a bit of conflict between the kids) We did use the sofa bed but brought our own padding since sofabeds are notoriously uncomfortable so can't say how comfortable it is without. The main bathroom is unique but beware of the steps. The kids loved that bathroom and we had no issues but wanted to call out to folks so they are aware there are steps to get into main shower.Overall we'd love to return to make more memories

Great location and viewn

Having extra bath towels would had been more helpful. One towel per person for four days is not enough. We had to buy laundry soap and wash our towels daily.

Close enough to walk to the bigger beaches and pier without the traffic and pedestrians constantly coming by like the boardwalk beach houses.

Lovely and clean beach level unit in quiet and neighborly area of Oceanside. Sounds of waves crashing along property, makes for a great night’s sleep. We had dolphins galore in front of property. Not for the infirm- stairs down to unit and stairs into sunken master shower. The only downside is some lack of privacy- shared common (sand) space just outside unit with two other units. But manageable. WiFI works well but can’t take or make phone calls from unit- have to walk up to street level. We had a fabulous stay and would recommend.

Beautiful view, location etc. lots of exclelen restaurants nearby and a short drive to Sand Diego. Highly recommend! I’ll definitely be back.

Can’t beat the view. Walking distance to everything

My family of 6 truly enjoyed our stay in Oceanside. We were directly on the water. It was very nice to have that view. I had my 4 children ages 8,6,3,and 1. Our youngest was in a pack and play and the other 3 shared the room. Otherwise it would have made the sleeping situation a little tricky. (We much prefer a closed bedroom for The kiddos.) The house had a lot of space. Both rooms each had walk in closets and ample space to unpack your bags. It was very nice having a parking spot on sight. The washer and dryer came in handy. We needed it. I did bring my own laundry soap. It’s hard to know what amenities you will have when you arrive. The master suite is large and the shower tub is odd at first but we actually really liked it! It was so nice and warm and steamy! We cooked quite a few meals in the property, the kitchen has the very basics for you. We brought a lot of our favorite tools from home and I am so glad that we did. Just for ease of cooking. Sharing the downstairs sand space was great. We enjoyed all the other guest company when we were there together. Everyone was so kind. There was plenty of towels and pillows provided but still brought a couple of our favorite comforts from home. The patio furniture is a bit worn but honestly it’s kinda expected with the sea breeze right in your backyard. The rock wall barrier between the beach and the property is a bit precarious with little children. My older kids did really well though and loved it.
