Happy Days has a great location, is immaculately clean and we enjoyed the ambience, especially the outdoor cafe lighting! Most of all, we appreciate you all offering this as a Live Auction item for The Texas School for the Deaf annual gala!

This was our first time to stay at this home. It was quite lovely. The bedrooms were large and the beds were comfortable. There was a lot of room in the living/kitchen/dining area and welcome bottle of yummy wine for us. The front porch had comfortable furniture to sit on and enjoy the wine. The location was perfect with easy walking access to downtown, restaurants and bars.

When we have our annual family trip to Fredericksburg, this is our favorite place to stay. Easy to walk to shopping and restaurants. We love sitting on the front porch and visiting with all the people passing by…

Amazing stay! Happy Days house is a remarkable little gem located very close to Main Street. First and foremost, it was exceptionally clean. What a refreshing change these days from many hotels. Also, it was very comfortable and provided for a very relaxing stay. From the beds to the furniture inside and out, everything was to our standards. There was even a cold bottle of wine in the refrigerator for us. We are already booked for next year!!! I can also say that we were pleased with the local booking service, Guesthaus Schmidt. The office was very attentive and responsive. Last year, we used a national vacation service to book a home there and we said never again!!! We were left waiting outside in the Texas heat for one hour because the code to the house did not work. Thank you for a very wonderful experience!!!

6 of us stayed at the property and we could not have been happier with it. The location was great! Just a couple minute walk to Main St. Plenty of room in the bedrooms, all with king size beds! The house was very clean. Great communication. We will definitely book again!

We have been coming to Fredericksburg for about 18 years, so we have stayed in many homes. Happy days is a contender for the top. The location could not be better. We have even stayed right on main street before and prefer this. You are about a two minute walk from Main Street but you have the benefit of a quieter street for noise. The beds are extremely comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need. The backyard is beautiful. You could hear live music from the front porch. I almost want to keep this my secret 😉

We loved everything about the property. The only suggestion would be to leave spare trash bags and paper towels. We could have used a couple of each and ended up buying them at HEB.

This was a great house for our girls weekend. Great location, no need to drive after arriving. Comfortable beds, living room, kitchen and eating area made it a great space to just relax. The front porch was great for morning coffee. Will definitely be back.

We loved our stay at Happy Days! The house is just wonderful. Great layout. Our dogs loved the backyard. The house is across the street from a great breakfast/lunch place and only a block from Main Street. We walked all over the town. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and even a wonderful bottle of wine on arrival. We will definitely return to Happy Days.

Five girl friends visited last weekend. We loved the location.... close to our favorite places! The bedrooms were comfortable, and the bathrooms were nice. The common space for us to get together and visit was nice, except for the furniture. The couch wasn't very comfortable, and a couple more softer side chairs would be great. If the furniture is changed, we would definitely stay there again.

Our family was leaving our town from the recent hurricane Laura, we had extra dogs that was not allowed in the rules. The owners graciously bent the rules and allowed our extra fur babies to stay at the Happy Days Home. We are extremely thankful for their kindness! The house was clean, had plenty of towels, pots and pans, utensils, shampoo, blow dryers, blankets, condiments, big fenced yard, it was roomy and had all the extras anyone could ask for! The Pesek family will be forever grateful to the owners kindness in our time of need! We definitely recommend Happy Days Home! I give it five stars!

Perfect walking distance to Main Street. Enough space for the 4 of us and our dog. Nicely decorated and good amenities. A little noisy but slept well. Will come back!

The location of the house is wonderful. A block and half from Main and really close to bars with live music venues. While the house appears to have been recently renovated which is great and the fact that they allow pets and have fenced by yard is even better. The amenities of the house are lacking - -the kitchen had limited cookware, which made cooking a challenge. -the living room furniture (coach and chairs) were not comfortable and made staying in for Christmas uncomfortable -the mattresses were adequate (not uncomfortable but not comfortable) and when combined with the sheets that were very loose and would come loose at the corners. The pillows for the bed were very skinny and were not very comfortable. - the bedrooms lacked placed to place clothes or unpack, other than hanging items in the closet. There was one suitcase stool and for the other had to use the single hard plastic chair to hold it, so you were leaving your suitcase or bags on the floor. a dresser would have been nice. - the front windows did not latch properly, so a few of them were not locked/secured properly. Overall, the location and the condition of the house were great, but it comes up short on the amenities that make for renting a home worthwhile. I would be hard pressed to rent this one again for the price, because it was missing things to make it comfortable and enjoyable when staying in and trying to relax.

This place was perfect for walking to the shops on main and an easy drive to the wineries. The beds were amazing! Overall a great place!

Very clean and well kept. Well stocked - need a pair of tongs for the kitchen but otherwise great. Some street/car noise in the early morning but worth it to have the location. Quality linens and towels. We had a great time. Thank you very much.
