We loved the screen porch and the amount of seating. Access to restaurants was within walking distance. Short walk to beach. Excellent bedroom and kitchen layout. What needs improvement: hardwood floors need refinishing and French door needs replacement. Public parking next to house gets very busy and loud on weekends.

The house was everything we were looking for: a beachfront location, central open concept area and deck to overlook the ocean. The screened in porch was larger than expected and was a great bonus

Great beachy style beach house. Not fancy, just beachy! Loved the layout. Great for 3 couples. Kitchen well equipped. TV very easy to manage. Lots of channels and Netflix. Great porch with lots of chairs. Parking for at least 6 cars. Depending on your own personal perspective, the location was a bit crowded since it's somewhat close to Center St. But...that's also a perk if you don't mind walking a couple of blocks to Center St. Then you don't have to worry about parking. Overall Great stay! Would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful time here! The views of the ocean & sunrise's & the beautiful full rainbow were just beautiful!! Would diffently stay here again!!

House was in a fantastic location. Views were beautiful. House was very nice and just the right size. Bedding was clean and nice. House amenities were great as well. The vents were pretty dusty, but we also stayed at end of season. When we arrived, one portion of the screened in porch was ripped. I emailed right away so we wouldn't be blamed, and they sent someone over right away to fix it, which was great. We would definitely stay again.

Perfect property to reunite with family and friends. Location to center street shops and restaurants a plus. Guests ranged in age from 9 to 70 years. Would def book again!

The house was really clean and well updated. The location was mostly fantastic: on the beach within walking distance of all the restaurants and shops. We wish we would have known there was a public beach access parking lot right next to the house when we booked. I believe the listing now has photos showing the lot, but we were not aware when we booked the house. On the weekends the lot was noisy late into the night, but otherwise it was not a big issue.

This house is right on the beach which is beautiful but next to the public beach access and parking lot was not ideal. The house needed a better cleaning. Lots of dust and windows needed to be cleaned in order to see the ocean view. The refrigerator and freezer never seemed to cool down properly even after contacting the management company. Overall we had a great family stay. The house was perfect for our family of five. We loved being able to walk to town for great restaurants. We did a lot of bike riding too.

Our extended family had a great stay at 225 E. Arctic! There was lots of room to gather, play games, eat meals and visit. The property was clean and well kept, and the accessibility to everything on Folly Beach was excellent. It's a pretty short drive into historic Charleston as well. Check-in time was late on our Sunday arrival date. On our arrival day, the time changed and we were asked to arrive at 4:00 pm rather than 6:00 pm. We were driving from a long distance and, at that point in the trip, couldn't arrive sooner. Even though we arrived within the 4:00-6:00 window, the rental office was closed and we had to pick up our keys from a "late arrival" box. There was no one available to answer any questions. But things were in order at the house and we were able to figure everything out. We appreciated being able to rent beach chairs and umbrellas for the week through the Rental Agent's partnership with VayK Gear. That was very convenient and saved us from bringing our own. Thanks Hannah! We loved your house!

Excellent location. We all enjoyed being close to town. Especially enjoyed the wonderful screened in porch. Only wish is that walkover went farther onto the beach. Hot sand for my precious grandchildren ! Thanks for all the memories made this week.

This house worked out great for our large group. Right on the beach. The patio was utilized the entire stay.

The property was exactly as described online. When we walked in we were thrilled with the amount of open space in the main area. The beach at our doorstep, and the pier a short walk away, it was perfect for our family of 7. The realty was a pleasure to work with, and the house was clean and inviting. Would love to go back one day!!

The house is in a great locations 2 blocks from Center street and a short walk to Bert’s Market. The house has a great layout inside, plenty of space and easy access to the beach. I would recommand this place to anybody looking for a wonderful place to stay in Folly Beach!

This house is the perfect location. It is steps from the beach and walking distance to everything in town. We came with a group of girls for a bachelorette weekend and there was plenty of space and bathrooms! It was the perfect set up for a large group!

We had a wonderful bachelorette party at this house. It was perfect for our group of 12 and it looks out DIRECTLY on the beach. The kitchen is well-stocked with tools for cooking and the house is in great condition. There is a little store just 2-3 blocks away that had almost everything we needed and it is very close to downtown Folly Beach. I highly recommend this house!

It was a pleasure to stay here! It is completely open in the middle and when you walk in you see the beautiful ocean through the back porch windows! It has a nice open kitchen to cook and prep everything you need with a good sized fridge. The bedrooms are separated on either side, two on left and two on right with double beds in all rooms. The (screened) back porch is amazing, complete with rocking chairs to sit and hang out as well as direct access to the beach. If I head back to Charleston, I will be sure to stay here again.

We really loved our stay here. Our first impression, upon walking in, was that the pictures actually didn't do the layout justice. The 4 rooms are on the corner, with a very large central area that serves as a great hangout place. The big table was great for our party, and the kitchen offered more than enough space to move around. When we weren't on the beach, we were on the porch. The rocking chairs were great, and despite overall warm/humid weather, the porch was comfortable throughout the day. We were initially concerned that being so close to a public access point would bring lots of noise and crowds, but we didn't find that to be the case. Saturday the beach was pretty busy, but we didn't have any trouble setting up camp the rest of the week. Ability to park under the house was very nice, keeping the cars out of the direct sun. Plenty of under house parking. Location: We also loved the ability to walk to the Pier, and town for shopping and restaurants. The walk is short enough to manage, even in the heat, but far enough that you don't feel like you're living in the crowds. Overall, it was a great week. Everyone enjoyed it and we would most certainly look for this house again.

We've been coming to Folly Beach each Oct. for 23 years, and this is one of the best houses we've rented. The 3 bathrooms were great for 13 women and the bedrooms had queen and twin beds for sleeping. The queen bed in the left front bedroom was especially comfortable., although some of the other beds were a little hard for my taste. Loved the well-stocked kitchen with all sorts of pots and pans and dishes. Plenty of room in the dining and living area. The screened porch was our favorite place to sit, but needed more than 7 rocking chairs for these retired ladies. More porch furniture would be welcome. Three of our members had mobility issues, but the beach was so close that everyone was able to easily get there. We look forward to renting here again.

Fantastic ocean front home only steps away from the ocean. Awesome layout! You can see the ocean as soon as you walk in. Entire house is spacious with bedrooms on each side. We love sipping coffee on the deck while watching the sunrise. Would stay again and would recommend to everyone.
