Breakfast could be more different, more suitable for vegetarians, no vegetables etc Buffet could better option.

All the staff, from the cleaners and waiting staff to the manager were so friendly. The food was absolutely excellent and we often stayed in the hotel for lunch or dinner. Breakfast was also great and I liked that there was a changing daily special. Pool was lovely and the room was great (apart from the lack of a/c). We had such a lovely stay.

Our only slight issue was lack of air conditioning in our room. We booked a fan room as A/C rooms sold out and it was nearly 40c on some days so it was pretty hot. But the hotel provided extra fans which definitely helped!

Hôtel situé sur la plage à 5 minutes de l’aéroport de Diani beach ! Les logements sont spacieux, propres et très agréables ! Le personnel est aux petits soins pour les clients ! Une grande piscine et il y a des transats disponibles sur la plage qui sont surveillés par un employé, ce qui est très appréciable pour surveiller nos affaires pendant la baignade ! Le restaurant est très bon avec pas mal de choix à toute heure de la journée et le petit-déjeuner est très copieux ! Je recommande cet hôtel! On a passé un séjour incroyable ! Le shopping center pour les souvenirs ou autre shopping est accessible en 3 minutes en taxi ou Tuk-tuk que l’on peut réserver directement à l’accueil et d’autre restaurants à proximité sont accessible par la plage ! Rien a dire ! Parfait !

Loved this place!! Specially the people: Angie, the manager, was always supporting me in whichever thing I needed, I felt like she really took care of me. Also, the place is close to everything, and has good connections to people offering activities at very good prices. And as a solo traveller, these are things that are very important to me (specially, knowing that you can trust the people and what they offer!). I didn't want to leave, would definitely come back!!

Le personnel extrêmement professionnel, chaleureux et souriant (Milka, Pitta, Sharon, Angie, Maurine, Alexandre, ...), notre hôte qui a pris soin de nous, l'emplacement de l'hôtel, les repas, la piscine, l'accès à la plage de sable fin blanc, le cadre et la localisation du B&B qui permet un accès rapide aux petits commerces, à la banque, à la pharmacie et à une petite surface commerciale. Si la marche sous un soleil de plomb n'est pas appréciée, on fait l'expérience des touc touc: c'est pittoresque et vraiment amusant. Vous désirez manger dans un endroit qui sort de l'ordinaire?: on fait 100 mètres en sortant de la structure et on mange che Ali Barbour's cave... je n'en dis pas plus; ça vaut le détour mais réservez avant d'y aller. Finalement, et non pas des moins importants, loin de là, notre hôte Marty qui a été de très bon conseil et qui a une solution à tout.

Je conseille vivement de prendre une chambre climatisèe surtout aux personnes qui souffrent de la chaleur et qui ne supportent pas les ventilateurs.

Super Lage direkt am herrlichen Strand von Diani. Fantastisches Personal, das über die Maßen hinaus geht, damit man sich wohlfühlt. Frühstück und allgemeine Küche super lecker. Wir können das Grandiose B&B Flamboyant Hotel mit seinem überaus sympathischen Besitzer und seiner charmanten Assistentin sehr gerne weiterempfehlen.

The room. The manager told us it was the worst room they have and I believe that other rooms are probably better. No ac in the room on first floor and it got really unbearably hot.

the location couldn't be better: the most beautiful beach in the world just at your doorstep. the owner and the staff are exceptionally nice and helpful and will go out of their way to accommodate you. I m very Impressed by the small details which are part of hotel, like the shampoo, body lotion etc set available to the guests in the bathroom. All hotels always supply not particularly good products in a single- use plastic bottles. Not in Flamboyant : the products are locally sourced and of exceptionally good quality, delivered in refillable bottles. Other hoteliers should come and learn how to run a hotel here.

Location beachfront is a must. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Showers with good water pressure, hot water and all the amenities. Managers Arty and Angie and, staff are very kind and helpful. Pool is clean, breakfast is tasty and varied. Really good value for money. We would definitely stay with you again!!

De ligging is goed, al moet je wel met een tuktuk naar de winkels of Ukunda, verderop. Er is een zwembad, maar ook zee op plm. 100 meter. Het personeel is geweldig.

Het enige nadeel is dat je niet gemakkelijk op eigen gelegenheid naar het dorp kan na donker. Daardoor blijf je misschien te gemakkelijk in het restaurant eten, terwijl er meer te beleven is dan dat.

Staff went out of their way to make your stay truly enjoyable. The shared guest lounge was very enjoyable and the breakfasts really tasty. The facilities on offer were excellent and the place is small scale, perfect for a relaxing holiday.

Nothing really. Only the pesky monkeys were a bit of a nuisance - one needs to watch out for bags and keep doors closed.

Flamboyant is an absolute gem on the coastline. Its stunning location, top-notch service, and attention to detail make it the perfect destination for a memorable vacation.

The menu is very limited. There were not many dishes to choose from.

Felt very relaxing and peaceful, helped by the fact that it is not a big hotel, and nice that it was tucked away off the beach a bit. Having said that, being able to walk just 50m or so to the beach was amazing. Staff were all very friendly and we really appreciated recommendations for activities.

Only thing we didn’t enjoy was leaving.

I booked 4 nights at Flamboyant but finally stayed for 8 nights. The managers Arty and Anji are always paying attention to you, and are very helpful. The staff is super friendly, Alex, Noel, Salim, and all the others are adorable. The breakfast is excellent. The food is great and cheaper than in some other places. You can order food anytime during the day until 9:30 pm and have a drink at the bar until 10 pm. You can stay longer on the terrasse in the armchairs and it's safe there as there is a guard for the night. The swimming pool is huge and perfect if you want to chill, swim, or have fun as there is a deep and shallow parts. The long chairs beside the swimming pool are very comfortable and there is enough space in the garden to find a spot without being stuck to others guests. The direct access to the beach where there are also long chairs is really appreciable. The hotel is modern, cozy, well-decorated, calm, secure, and peaceful. The room is very clean, the bed is super comfy. The smell of soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion is incredible. There is a mosquito net over the bed, and a fridge. The aircon is working well. The wifi is everywhere and it works perfectly. I highly recommend this place and will definitely go back.

There were some tiny ants in one part of the room, but they didn’t bother us.

The closeness to the beach

If you are going to Diani beach, we recommend Flamboyant. The place is very cosy (nice garden with sun bed and chairs & tables), has a nice swimming pool, good bar and excellent restaurant! We stayed in two rooms in the main building (with AC) which were cosy and clean. The people at Flamboyant are all very friendly and helpfull. Angie has given us a lot of suggestions for trips (snorkling, day trips) and restaurants. She is always willing to reserve a restaurant or book a taxi or tuktuk. Markets (for souvenirs) and restaurants are closeby. For us this is the best place to stay at Diani beach!

Most of the hotel crew was excellent - nice, kind and helpful. The hotel is beautiful, rooms are comfortable, we had an ocean view from the bedroom. The cleaning service was taking care of everything in the room for us. Very close to the beach - actually they had their own access to it. Helpful guards and reception. Excellent and really tasty food at the hotel restaurant. The owner was greeting us every morning and making sure that we're all good. We reported that it's impossible to lock the windows - and they took care of this immediatelly, fixed in an hour. This hotel is nearly perfect.

The windows in our room were so dirty - not acceptable when the ocean view is offered. And some of restaurant crew was very, very slow and made mistakes. When we ordered a drinks or coffee - we often had to wait 30 minutes or more. Also we ordered e.g. scrambled eggs with sausage for the breakfast, but we got scrambled eggs with tomato (this happened more than once for each of us). Just to be clear - the food itself was really good and tasty. One more thing - instead of one king size bed there were two single beds joined together. Still, the hotel is really, really good.

I think all the rooms need air con, I know fans are provided in the non air con rooms , which is great, but still makes for a hot nights sleep.
