We loved the Monroe house! It was simply stunning with a southern charm! We will definitely be back for a longer stay! It was great for old and young alike! It was a great area and the host made it so easy! Hope to return soon! Thanks for a wonderful experience!

This house is perfectly placed and worked well for our family - 11 strong with ages ranging from 1 - 92! For a family of our size we were disappointed in that there was not real 'gathering' space for all of us. The beds and bedrooms were clean and comfortable. The front room is extremely noisy even with the provided sound machine. All in all the house worked fine for us.

House listed 5 bedrooms with one room with twin beds; did not specify or have pictures of two twin bunk beds for kids instead of two separate twin beds for adults (which was what we were expecting). We would have made different arrangements if we knew.

Not South of Broad, but this property takes you back in time to old world charm. Close to King street and well decorated. Comfortable beds.

Beautifully decorated, large house perfect for two families- we were a total of 9 with tons of room to spare. Less than a mile walk to literally everything, wrap around two story porch perfect for people watching and your morning coffee or evening cocktails. Three kitchens, two sets of washer and dryer. Only drawback is if you stay in one of the street-facing bedrooms (1 right off downstairs kitchen and one upstairs) you can hear literally everything (people waking, Cars driving by, early morning delivery and garbage trucks) and there’s construction going on next door that started at about 7:45am each morning so bring some ear plugs. Our friends and kids slept in the bedrooms that face the back of the house and didn’t get woken up like we did. All in all this was a great place to stay and we highly recommend this house for large gatherings.

We have a large family that gathers together each Christmas. This was the perfect place to host everyone. There was plenty of room to spread out. The kitchens were equipped with everything we needed. It was in a great location..short walk to King St., the grocery store, restaurants of all kind. The management was very responsive. I would highly recommend this incredible home.

The property was a lovely appearing historic house is a nice location, walkable to King St. The renovations of the kitchen snd bathrooms were very nice. There was enough room for 12 of us but there were 4 bunk beds, not ideal for 60 plus women, do we doubled up in a few beds. But the biggest problem was the musty smell upon entering the house and it may have been from some mold somewhere. One of our party was actually not able to stay in the house due to an allergic reaction to the air quality and had to get a hotel room in the area. It was quite expensive for her. Others in our party also had allergic reactions and needed medication. We were there 3 nights, so we managed and were out and about most of the day. We contacted the manager a couple of times who said the host wanted to directly contact me and I said great, please do? but never heard back. This was disappointing and has resulted in this not so flattering review, I feel the house has potential but needs some work to address this air quality issue.

The property could not have been any more beautiful. We loved how much space there was, every room (even bathroom) was Instagram worthy. Beds were comfortable and everything felt clean. Would recommend to anyone going to Charleston with a big group of people.

Would absolutely stay with this group again. The home was fresh and modern with every amenity you need while still upholding the charm of a beautiful old Charleston home. Minutes away from King St and incredible restaurants make this home a must for big parties or groups who need a great getaway.

This was such a special place. You can tell that meticulous planning went into the spaces, the layout and the finishing/furnishings which made for a luxury experience! I don't think I can ever go back to having only 1 fridge in a vacation rental again (especially with 16 people!) Our favorite parts of the stay were walking everywhere and having a chef prepared meal around the huge upstairs table (which is beautiful and custom made!!) we will never get over the details of this house! Everything you could ever want.

What a BEAUTIFUL charming home! The owners are incredible decoraters, designers, made great functional spaces in all areas, and have really done an incredible job hosting their home to others. We're so thankful our family could stay here and make the best memories in this unforgettable house. Location is to DIE FOR! Loved all the comfortable beds, showers, 2 sets of porches/rocking chairs, and multiple kitchens. Thank you so much, we appreciate you!!!

We loved the house!! The decor was amazing. Plenty of space for a large group to spread out! 3 kitchens/kitchenettes were super helpful in the AM for coffee brewing. We spent a lot of time on the balconies rocking in the rocking chairs and relaxing! Walkable to king street and lots of great bars/restaurants.

I recently stayed at this property, a beautiful historic home within walking distance of King Street, with 8 friends. The home was recently updated but still retains much of its charm. There are 5 bedrooms, 5 full baths, 2 living areas, 2 kitchens and a kitchenette. The home very comfortably fit the 9 of us. There are 2 very large wrap around porches that where wonderful. A few negative points mainly due to the age of the home: Everyone naturally congregates in the kitchen and both kitchens are pretty small, the street noise can be a little loud (they had noise machines by each bed-nice touch), the inside and outside are steep and some a little slanted (it could be a challenge for some). Overall we loved the house, location and would definitely stay there again!
