Gina is a lovely owner and has lots of nice thoughtful touches. Very comfortable and beautiful views!

Exceptionally clean & comfortable accommodation, lovely friendly communication with host. Wonderful selection of breakfast food, fruit & treats. Loved feeding the animals with the animal food that is left for you to use. Close to town & just around the corner from Donegal House Hotel, where we had a lovely dinner. Could not fault a thing & would happily stay again.

location , views , extremely beautiful chalet all around and got to feed friendly farm animals with food that was provided . absolutely stunning accommodation and next time I go to Kaikoura this will definitely be where I will stay .

This location was the absolute stand out of our entire trip. Absolutely Beautiful Chalet in the centre of a stunning location. Not a single fault. Bed was so comfortable! Electric blankets and some very soft pillows. The animals were another highlight to the trip- we were able to see the newest little lamb only a few days old! So many beautiful birds and sights to see here. Owners recommended a restaurant not far away for dinner and it was good! We would genuinely like to visit again!

The Only drawback our schedule- we would have loved to stay longer!

Code pour la clé envoyé avant par e-mail. Moutons, daims et lamas sympathiques à côté qui viennent manger dans la main les granulés friandises fournis. A 4 kms de Kaikoura Whale Watch ( avons vu dauphins et cachalot)

Beautiful views, nice selection of complementary tea, coffee, toast, cereals, etc. Hosts were very responsive to our messages, and had no issues with our unfortunate need to rebook our stay twice! Would definitely recommend for any stay in Kaikoura.

My parents had such a lovely time staying in this chalet. Gina was lovely and easy to communicate with, and was kind enough to allow an earlier check in. The place was absolutely wonderful and my parents had a very comfortable and luxurious stay and they liked the additional little touches here and there throughout the property. They also thoroughly enjoyed being able to feed the sheep and alpacas.

Must've been missed by the hosts when stocking up the food - but the cereal packets provided were expired/past their best before date! All the other food and drinks provided were great though so please don't let this deter you from staying here!

Waking up to the beautiful view of the mountains was amazing! The place is very clean, neat & tidy! Was super cosy, warm and modern! Felt like a home away from home. We loved that they provide food to feed the animals which was cool! The continental breakfast & the little treats were nice! Definitely going back forsure! Thank you Gina & John. You have an amazing beautiful place😊

Minimal cooking facilities, but not a huge issue - just couldn't cook my morning eggs!!

Good communication from hosts about key collection, and clarification of the amenities available at the property, before arrival. Property provided an exceedingly high level of luxury and comfort, from the huge internal space , quality fittings, extra wide and comfortable bed to bathrobes being provided. Generous breakfast -sufficient for the entire 4 night stay. (At other properties when staying more than 1 night this has not always been the case)

Lovely Mountain view, just out of town. Spacious chalet with comfortable furnishings and washer dryer. Lovely large shower and bath, with bath robes provided. Private off road parking alongside the chalet. Feeding the Alpacas, Deer, Sheep through the fence to the next field was a nice experience (hosts provided the food). Wifi was also very good. We were offered the use of a bbq, as there is no oven but we ate out at the local town or collected a takeaway from the various eateries. There is an electric frying pan and a microwave. The hosts provided a bowl of fruit, a choice of cereals, bread, milk, fruit cocktail jellies, yoghurts, butters, jams, cartons of juices, a small bottle of white wine and a bottle of beer, napkins. New World supermarket is only a 5 minute drive towards town.

We found the tv was on the small side, and therefore, difficult to read.

Beautiful, modern, very comfortable bed, great bathroom. Nice breakfast, good plunger coffee.

A little noisy from road traffic in the evening, but soundproof windows were great. Television some distance from couches, but I guess they could be moved closer.

Everything. it’s a really beautiful, clean and well-equipped property, very close to Kaikoura, and with deer, alpaca etc in the adjoining field with animal feed supplied! Really fabulous.

Beautifully built wooden chalet , one of two, side by side on the owners property. Loads of room and very clean and comfortable, with all the expected facilities other than an oven and hob. We enjoyed feeding the alpaca and sheep which are in an adjoining field and also the large sharing bath. Parking is right next to the property and there is a ramp for anyone with a wheelchair.
