Excellent service in all aspects from family owners. Breakfast substantial and delicious. Beautifully maintained, inside and in the delightful courtyard. Very comfortable bed, Lovely outlook from window of hills and neighbourhood. Peacefully quiet, away from the busy port area.

Not easy to chose: all the personal, from the family that manages the structure to the cleaning personnel- all of them polite, nice and very professional. Then the structure itself, accurate, clean and in very confort position. Close to everything and extremely quite in the same time. Best breakfast ever :)

breakfast in the courtyard with its beautiful flowers is fantastic and abundant. the staff is very kind. place is very clean, quiet and intimate. I felt at home immediately.

the wifi was a bit slow every now and then. not a real problem, there's also 5G...

Everything perfect

Everything was perfect: situation, comfort, atmosphere and a wonderful breakfast. We recommend it without restriction. We were there as a couple (60 years old) and we appreciated to be waken up by roosters and donkeys.

Just a suggestion: it would be perhaps better to replace the breakfast « juice » which is just flavoured powder with sugar put into water by normal water.

we travel up to 6 weeks a year in Europe and have been for 35 years. we plan our own trips and have a lot of experience with all types of hotels. The Mistral is over the top in every category! the premise is immaculate, the service way beyond expectations, the location perfect, away from the chaos on the harbor but easy short walk to a beautiful oasis with courtyard , rooftop terrace, gorgeous decor, flowers and candles!! Jenny, Nickolas and Elsa cannot do enough to make your stay wonderful. and then to top it off, Theo is the most wonderful chef, who puts out a 5***+ breakfast that has about 5 courses all at once, Fit for Royalty. Absolutely beyond belief. if you miss this hotel, shame on you! you will have missed a real gem.

The breakfast was superb

The hotel is well located in beautiful Hydra. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was exceptional with lots of savoury items that are changed daily. The rooms are are large and very comfortable. An excellent place to stay for your visit to Hydra.

The location was incredible, just a few minutes walk from the port. The building and setting was picture-perfect. The room was lovely and comfortable. The staff was friendly, informative, helpful, and kind. The lobby's little dish of endless candies was a great touch. The breakfast was FANTASTIC; we sat in the courtyard and they brought us probably 30 plates of various, delicious breakfast foods. Everything went so smoothly, and I'm so glad we stayed here.

The bathroom fogged up easily, but this was such a minor complaint. Everything else was great.

The hotel was in a very good location 5 minutes from the port with an excellent breakfast, every day different with a wide variety. Finally, very friendly staff who are available to answer any question about the island.

Lovely place. ours was a fresh white room at the top of the building with a view of the water and access to a rooftop deck. The decor has historic details with a lovely stone garden for eating and sitting. Nice quiet location but very accessible to the harbor. Ample breakfast.

The breakfast was outstanding. The hotel was comfortable and welcoming. A donkey carried our luggage from the harbor to the hotel which was amazing. Our host, Nicolas, was full of information about island and recommended good restaurants.

This is an excellent hotel if you are looking for somewhere to stay on a budget in Hydra. The rooms are simple but very clean and well-maintained. The breakfast is the star, different every day and cooked with various types of food. The owners are really helpful and even arranged for someone to meet us at the ferry as there were a few of us arriving at 8pm when it was already dark, which could have made it a bit difficult to find the hotel.

I would suggest asking guests if they have any food allergies or dietary requirements since everybody gets the same breakfast. I imagine that if you can't it some types of foods, you automatically mention it, but it may be nice if guests are asked about it.

The most unbelievably delicious, authentic and lovingly prepared Greek breakfast ever, just wow! Excellent location, lovely helpful hosts and a delightful place. Highly recommended.

We stayed in the loft, delightful, but watch your head!!! Tea / coffee facilities in the room would have been the cherry on the top.

Excellent hotel, spotlessly clean with a great breakfast

Beautiful mansion converted into a B&B. The breakfast was the best and most elaborate I had in Greece. The rooms are comfortable and well-appointed. I enjoyed my stay so much that I decided to stay a second night. The proprietors moved heaven and earth to allow me to stay.

I loved the whole space; very quiet in courtyard, gorgeous plants and flowers, tasteful main area/lobby. The room was simple but very clean, with a window that opened over the pretty courtyard. The bed was super-comfy, and there was a little mini-fridge tastefully hidden in a wooden chest. The soaps were also nice. In addition to the room and spaces being nice, the people are amazing... always the same people, who asked genuinely about how I was doing. I felt like I was coming home each time I returned to the hotel. And... the rumours about the breakfast are all true. Bring your biggest appetite, it is huge, and also diverse (olives, cream cake, an amazing omelette, homemade jam, fresh tomatoes, the list goes on). Breakfast is served in the courtyard, with all the beautiful plants; a great way to start the day. And, importantly for me, my coffee cup was never empty. ;-) I definitely will stay at the Mistral again if I am lucky enough to get back to Hydra.

It would have been great to have a slightly larger shower, but it worked fine for me.

Ms. Jenny and Nikolas were amazing and very sweet. They arranged for help with my luggage from the port, the breakfast were phenomenal, courtyard and room were amazing.

Mistral's location is a short 5 min walk from the port, yet secluded enough to be exceptionally quiet at night. Delicious and very abundant breakfast with several homemade pastries made on the spot by the owner. Wi-fi connection is also very reliable, unlike some other places on the island and the owners are always available for any request/recommendations.
