Overall a very cozy comfort place. Host hiranthi is very kind and supportive. Care taker shama cooked us healthy fresh breakfast she’s obliging and clean. Love the set up of the property room and the furniture. Beautiful decor around the house. Good location. Easy access for most of the major places. Comfortable beds. Clean linen clean bathrooms. The fact I like the best a ceiling fan in the bathroom. I great idea. We will definitely go back again and will recommend this property as one of the best I ever stayed.

Havelock Garden is huge, modern and very clean house.Room was spacious and spotless. Here I had the best bathroom from all my stays, super big shower room and good water pressure. House has elevator, this is good in case you have heavy suitcases. Breakfast you can choose between western and eastern way, both they are good. Hiranithy and Prad are very nice people who will help with everything and make your stay pleasent. Housekeeper Shama is very polite lady, she wil make tea or coffe whenever you ask.Excellent service!

There are different wifi for each floor but was not worling on second floor. They solve it as they provide new router in my room. Check your wifi immmeditaelly when you got room.

My husband and I stayed for 4 days and were delighted. The guesthouse was great. It was located close to the city center with restaurants and a mall nearby. The rooms were very clean and spacious, featuring beautiful designs, artwork throughout, and exquisite antique furniture. The service was exceptional, and the staff was always ready to help. The breakfasts were tasty and satisfying, including scrambled eggs, sausages, bread with butter and jam, a generous fruit platter, and delicious coffee. Upon request, they could prepare a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast with roti and curry, although it was quite spicy. All in all, we highly recommend this guesthouse for a short stay in Colombo.

The house has two kitchens: a small one for guests and a second one for serving guests. It would be convenient to provide a separate electric kettle in the guest kitchen, so that guests do not have to bother the staff and invade their space every time they want to make tea or a hot beverage.

Eastern breakfast was excellent. flexible and well presented. A great welcome by the host. Very homely.

Western breakfast can be better. Frankfurters are served instead of sausages. No yogurt. Bottled water in the room is essential. Only 2 bottles were given in the room on the first day. Boiled cooled water was available from the kitchen when asked.

Everything was great; this is a very lovely and affordable place to stay.

The design of the house and room, the very good service with delicious tea or coffee anytime, and the delicious traditional breakfast. Also the host was very friendl and took us to get cash and answered all of our questions patiently.

I am travelling around Srilanka and this turned out to be a real gem. Lovely decor, welcoming hosts and a great location for getting to Colombo via a tuk tuk.

This was probably my best hotel stay experience ever. The owner of the residence made every effort to make my life comfortable, with options to have custom-made breakfasts in the morning. Amazing room, facilities, design and location.

The property is very good, neat and clean with a peaceful environment even though it is inside the city. The hospitality and assistance was very nice and they are providing a complimentary breakfast of the Sri Lankan native food which was a new experience and a good quality

Havelock Gardens BnB exceeded expectations in every way. Meticulously clean, spacious, private and cozy - we loved it so much we extended our stay! Far superior to a hotel room, the service was bespoke, the food was delicious everyday, and our host was wonderfully informative and responsive to any thing we needed. It’s ideally located in a residential nook of the city, easily accessible to nearly every major part of Colombo in 15-20 minutes at most. Highly recommend basing your Colombo stay here - it is the perfect balance of home and a luxury private villa.

It’s clean, beautiful, nice rooftop for yoga and viewing, spacious rooms, beautiful decor, amazing shower, and lovely caretaker. It’s a lovely and cozy place to sleep in if you’re in Colombo. I stayed here for over a week and the breakfast was amazing. The owner was very accommodating and was able to include dinner as well upon request. The caretaker makes the best food and she makes sure that you’re okay. This was my second time staying here. The internet is very fast and reliable. If you need to work online, you won’t have any issues at all. The TVs are connected to Netflix so you just have to sign in. Location was great! The owner and staff are great. Auntie is the best! She really looked after me, making sure I was well fed during my stay. I really like this place and highly recommend it. Great for short stays or long term! Many fridges, plenty of places to chill out and read, have tea, work, etc. Honestly, I don’t know what else to say but many thanks to everyone and auntie. Home away from home.

Havelock gardens BnB Is a newly built property open for business very recently. We travelled to Colombo for work and stayed there for two nights. The hosts Hiranthi, her husband and the caretaker were very friendly and helpful. They gave us a welcome drink on our arrival and even helped us carry out bags as well. They inquired whether our trip to Colombo was comfortable. They offered us very delicious pancake, milk rice breakfast with fruits, curd as complementary. Food was really tasty. The property has burglar alarm installed and will be activated in night which makes this property very secure and safe to stay. All the facilities such as furnitures, AC, television, bathroom fittings are in brand new condition and working well. We really enjoyed the rain shower with hot water. Rooms are very quiet and have a nice view of the sky through the glass windows. We enjoyed watching the thunderstorms through the window. I would recommend Havelock Gardens BnB for your stay in Colombo without any second thought. All photos the property has listed here are the exact real photos. Therefore I did not have the necessity to use my photos of the property in this review. Wish you all the best ❤️
