The pool was lovely when it was clean and ready. The breakfast included was nice. Our room (32) was a good size. The location was nicely outside of downtown but not to far. Easy access to everything.

We have never been told NO so many times over simple easy asks. My partner was told he couldn't have a clean bath towel until the room was cleaned, even tho his were used and wet. We were told we couldn't use the dryers after the hotel was done with them even tho our our stuff was soaked b/c it poured for 3 days straight. We did not have an electric kettle in our room which means we couldn't make coffee or tea before anything opens at 7am. When we asked if we could get some from the hotel, they again said, No. Lastly, the price increased from booking.com when we checked in, which we did not like at all... We also did not love that you cant drive up and unload your stuff at your room b/c the rooms are all on beautiful walkways, which is nice, but not ideal when traveling with luggage. Overall we liked the property but just felt the staff did not care about making our trip better. There was no extra mile, and instead lots of No, you cant do that. Just worth being aware of.

Wi Fi was not good enough for the people staying in the rooms after the pools.

Very nice location. Rooms are nice, although a bit dated. The springs are nice. Good value for money. I would recommend for a couple stay.

The view from our room was a bit obstructed. However, you can see the volcano from many spots in the hotel. Breakfast line for the eggs was fairly long. Lastly but most importantly, the coffee (such as cappuccino) should be included. We're in the land of coffee and paying extra for a cappuccino or an espresso seems inappropriate.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially in the restaurant. Housekeeping was excellent. The gardens were beautiful and very well maintained. The pool and hot tub area was very nice but sunbeds or some seating around the edge of the pool would be good. We had a garden bungalow which had lovely surroundings, was very private and quiet. The beds were comfy, air conditioning efficient. Very good shower. Good to have a fridge in the room. The food in the restaurant was good value for money and tasty. Good options for breakfast. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would say 'you get what you pay for'. Good value for money.

The facilities in the bungalow could so easily be improved and would take this accommodation to 'the next level'. A couple of hooks but no real hanging space/hangers. No kettle. All the decor seemed a little tired. The chairs out the front were uncomfortable and a small table would be useful. An information folder in the room would be useful: Restaurant opening times/ pool times. How to use the tv/air conditioning. Local taxi numbers. Restaurant recommendations. Tour ideas. At the hotel reception they weren't very forthcoming with recommendations,help in organising tours or activities.

This place is truly stunning. Our room, situated at the back, overlooks a nearby river, creating a soothing white noise. The room is exceptionally cozy and distinctive. I'm giving it five stars for its on-site restaurant, fantastic breakfast, helpful staff, unique charm, and delightful pools and Jacuzzis. While the beds and pillows could be more comfortable with an upgrade, I highly recommend this unique gem.

Do espaço exterior , que era lindo e muito bem cuidado e do pequeno almoço. Localizado ao lado do parque da La Fortuna Watterfals. Piscinas bonitas.

Do quarto familiar com varanda para o parque de estacionamento , da lavandaria a céu aberto e da casa do staff. Extremamente barulhento com nenhuma paisagem e privacidade. Casa de banho abaixo dos mínimos. Não era confortável.

The grounds are amazing, you can hear and feel the wildlife around you all day. The staff were very welcoming, each time you see any of them you’re greeted with a big smile. The restaurant is in a lovely little spot, and breakfast was good! The location is a lovely secluded and quiet spot, our room was right next to the river which was lovely to fall asleep to at night.

The room was very basic, which to be fair is how it is shown in the photos but it just wasn’t a comfortable place to relax. The bed wasn’t comfortable. Only had a sheet on the bed with an optional light blanket which barely covered the bed. It also is 30 minute walk out of town, which isn’t a very well lit road and you do have to cross some one way bridges. If you’re happy to drive, Uber or stay at the resorts restaurant though, this isn’t an issue.

It was immaculate,the staff was superb, The pool was very relaxing, great location, breakfast was a full nutritional breakfast, there was a restaurant in this location, and the food was reasonably priced and very good. Fabian, who worked in the restaurant was extremely pleasant with a smile and made us feel very welcomed.

Beautiful place full of great decors and plants, with very clean and comfortable rooms. You may not wish to go out and relax by the pool, jacuzzi or just relax. Superb owners crate almost family atmosphere. Nice breakfast every day new. Bus station close by (recommended to go to the beach) or Uber. Thank you for short but great time!

No USB sockets or adapters in the room for foreigners that did not check the system in CR. But probably available by reception Could be a regular capsules coffee machine available for self service, same as soft drinks)

Staff was not friendly (except at breakfast time) First, let us wait 30 min, then gave the wrong room (far smaller than the one we booked). There was a lot of noise (property’s own blaster) and noisy guests. We had to complain 5 times before they took some action (although they said they would take action)

El jardín con los canales de agua le dan un ambiente super tranquilo y relajante. Además el jacuzzi fue super. El restaurante de lo mejor.

Desde el viernes hasta el domingo cada vez que nos íbamos a bañar tuvimos problemas con el agua caliente, cada vez tenían que ir a activar el calentador porque presentaba problemas.

Très bon accueil. Parc de l'hôtel magnifique. Nous avons très bien mangé au restaurant. Serveurs très sympathiques et beau service. Chambre très propre avec vue sur la végétation. Le gros plus jacuzzi dans le jardin.

Es war sehr sauber und das Personal war sehr aufmerksam und höflich.

Me gusto la privacidad de cada una de las habitaciones, el personal increíblemente amables, y serviciales, el desayuno estuvo delicioso, las piscinas súper limpias e incluso vi que uno de los empleados pasaba limpiándola seguido, la ubicación excelente, está a 4 minutos del centro de la fortuna.

There is hot tub as well right next to the big pool has a bar was super cozy when it was rain. Easy access to town by the car. Staff were really nice and warm welcoming.
