Super quirky space! Loved the plant life and architecture. Really close to most things in Cowes and price is a major plus. Would stay again!

Being of Mexican background, my partner felt like he was in Puebla, Mexico! If you are after something quirky and different, walking distance to everything, then this is the place for you. Lots of antiques …Great experience

Overall a good experience The owners where very helpful

Seemed a bit musty. The soft furnishings felt dusty. The path from the street to the house was mostly gravel. Only street parking. Roger was absent when we arrived but Jeany was an excellent host. Helped carry luggage to house. Left her phone number when she was leaving premises. If leaves were cleared off skylights, etc. it would have let more light in. No internet. No TV channels 2 or 10.

My partner and I had an awesome stay here, terrific location, very cool beach house and just a walk down the road to Cowes main shopping strip. Roger was a great host, very personable and gave us some good recommendations of places to go on our trip!

San Antone accommodation was all its advertised and more. Roger (the owner) is welcoming, friendly, and his artistic side flows through the property. Once we walked in, it feels far away from the busy Phillip island road. It truly feels like a completely unique place to stay. With something to see everywhere you look, it's not hard to see why so many people would choose to stay here. In apartment #1, The main bedroom features a queen bed, along with 2 singles. Perfect for families with children who want to be close. There's also another bedroon with a bunk bed, plus another single. All beds are made up, ready for your stay. There's a lovely deck outside the bedroom and lounge area, which feels like you're sitting in a rainforest. Very tranquil. There's a full kitchen if you want to cook, with a dining table that seats 4. Thank you, Roger, for being such a great host. Brandon and I will definitely be in touch for another stay in the future.

Such a cool and quirky place at a great location! Roger, property owner, was so welcoming. His quirky, creative and eccentric personality comes through onto the property. We thought it looked ‘quirky’. Previous reviews said the owner was great. What it was: dank, musty, dirty. The couches are overdue for hard rubbish collection. No wifi, only one toilet roll for the weekend. Had to do a supermarket run to buy our own. The owner was rude and intimidating. Don’t waste your money here.

All is not what it seems,the photos are quite old.You may be greeted with squashed cockroaches in the loo,greasy glasses in the kitchen,no proper bathmat(doormat) and very average towels.The salvos sell similar as dog towels!The weather was balmy..sadly there was no screen on the sliding door in the main bedroom…that is the only ventilation in the room.The lounge room door could not be opened at all.The floor is uneven.The bench around the bathroom sink has lost its sealant long ago,there is a black ring were it meets the basin."a biochemists delight!?Watch out for dental picketers on the kitchen floor.The couches are so grotty.Some parts of the floor have not been properly cleaned for a very long time.Ingrained dust and impacted spiderwebs are all there.Never managed to get internet.I am prepared to accept that the dead mouse outside could be seasonal issue.I like quirky,but not at the exclusion of an acceptable level of cleanliness.I strongly recommend that you find another place to stayWe all have a duty of care…that includes Stayz,hosts and customers.DONT GO THERE!

Fun, quirky, vibrant, eclectic place with lots of character and bohemian features. Feels like a secluded rainforest hideaway with the convenience of being on the main street. Had a lovely time!

Amazing location! The host roger was extremely welcoming, and everywhere you turn there was something else to look at.

Very interesting property. Young children will love staying in Roger's place. Lots of fascinating items collected over years with a theme of the US Mid West.

Roger's place felt like a classic family holiday house set somewhere between the Wild West and a tropical island. We felt immediately at home, and Roger was a marvellous host. Wifi reception was less than ideal for remote work when we stayed, but I understand there'd been local issues affecting all of Cowes.

Thanks very much for your hospitality Roger, it was a great couple of days staying at your place. Although we’ve been visiting Phillip Island for over 15 years during the holidays, your local knowledge & stories is 2nd to none. The large unit is decked out with memorabilia from Roger’s travels around the world & all have a story which he’s happy to recount. The unit is functional & has all you need for a beach-stay, close to amenities and a short walk to the beach. Had wonderful stay at this holiday house. The house is filled with unique antique furniture and is in a great location. Would recommend
