Great position and owner was really responsive.

Great location, 5 minute walk (down) to the water.

Consistency of buses to Nice.

Location was fantastic close to the beach, restaurants, trains and buses. A beautifully equipped modern apartment.

The location is great.

The hosts are friendly and welcoming. However, the apartment was extremely dirty, with oversized furniture that appeared poorly maintained. Old area rugs in every room. The mattresses were old and the bed was sagging. Additionally, the oven and kitchen were dirty. The apartment had an unpleasant odor as well.

Lovely flat top of the steps leading up the harbour. Flat is spacious with all the amenities as expected and tastefully decorated. Clean bed linens were provided for all the three beds. Best part was that Sonia has left 2 beach umbrellas, 3 beach matts and couple of beach towels which come really handy when visiting the nearby beaches. Sonia herself was very helpful and did her best to help out with our car incident (see below)! Oh and do visit the lovely wine bar "Grand Cove" with your loved one which is at the bottom of the steps going down from the flat. Its the best thing we did in Villafranche and would come back just to have a wine (or two!) here :)

There was nothing about the flat itself we didn't like. However, parking in Villafranche-sur-mer can be a nightmare!! The barrier car parks are very expensive (48 EUR per day) and the Barmassa underground car park is very narrow for bigger cars. The 25 EUR weekly tourist pass only allows you to park in the PAYNT spaces which are very few around the town and always full (you cannot use this pass to park in the blue spaces or in the barrier car parks). We unfortunately had our car impounded by the police as we parked overnight on the Fos de la Citadelle road inspite of no obvious signs to not park there. Please ignore the locals who park along this road as they come back late night / early morning and drive away their cars. We had to pay 129 euros to release the car plus an expensive 30 minute Uber ride to the place they keep the impounded cars (other side of the mountain) ! Not to mention the multiple visits to the local police station! So if you are coming to the flat with a car, suggest you just accept the higher cost of parking and park in either Bramassa (very close to flat but needs smaller cars) or park in the open barrier car parks Wilson (shorter walk) or the Marinieres car park (15 min walk to the flat but more likely to find spaces late evening after 8pm). Again, the parking issues is nothing to do with the flat but problem of the town itself.

A well apportioned apartment and very centrally located. Sonia was an excellent host. We loved our stay here.

Very close to : beach, train station ,bus station restaurants, shops. Best location for a vacation. New and good quality of furniture, comfy bed, Szonja was very friendly and helpful. You have also tourist book, equipment for the beach ⛱️
