Lovely cosy hut, great amenities for a weekend away, garden and patio area is lovely, great location.

Despite following the instruction sheet the shower went cold very quickly

The rooms we're exceptionally warm, considering it was -4 degrees the night I stayed there. I was worried on the way up, as I thought it was a "hut" or a fancy tent.

I highly recommend this accommodation. Spotless, Comfortable, All mod-cons. A great place to go to unwind while having the benefit of being <15 mins from Kilkenny. Great walks right there adjacent to the huts. The grounds are also fab for sitting outside. Lovely hosts - will definitely go back!

Lovely cottage! It was so cosy! The sunrise is incredible. Very lovely lady.

Everything was amazing! We were so delighted, such a cozy place. We travelled with our dog, he was absolutely happy in this garden. I hope we come back soon, thanks a million Caroline, Slava Ukraine)

The hut is comfy, very clean and cozy, with a beautiful forest walk right behind it and a view on a castle-like mansion - very romantic! Each hut has it’s own little garden with a seating area, the kitchen is well equipped for two people, there is a one-plate cooker, some pots and utensils, a fridge, kettle, microwave - basically all you need for a short trip. We only used the Kettle and the fridge, they also have complimentary tea and coffee. And towels too! The location was actually perfect - very close to Kilkenny but also Carlow has some great spots to visit which was also close by! The room has a radiator and very hot and filtered water which is a huge bonus for glamping in the winter:) What was really great is that they recycle and there are small bins outside for each! And if there is anything else you need like a hair dryer or a board game you can just ask for it. Overall we had a great stay plus we love Kilkenny so we’ll definitely be back!

Beautiful unique huts, in a quiet but lovely area. Very cosy and warm with everything we needed. Loved the private access to the forest for walks. And loved how super dog friendly it is. Loved how environmentally friendly the place is also. Host was very friendly and welcoming.

Another hot plate for cooking would be helpful when trying to cook a meal

Karima & Caroline our hosts were such lovely people and a pleasure to deal with. Very helpful and friendly, giving good tips on where to eat vegan food, so top hosts and thank you for your hospitality. We rented the three shepherds huts for the duration of our stay late August and they were all very clean, modern, comfortable with electricity and sockets to charge your gadgets. Nice ensuite bathroom - I note other comments regarding the shower but if you are careful and don't blast out hot water on full we managed decent showers up up to 5 mins, which is plenty of time. Great outdoor seating area to each hut with individual chimineas and a separate communal BBQ area. Next to Jenkinstown wood which has a lovely walk and also a deer sanctuary where you can hand feed the deer. Great location for exploring Kilkenny or further afield - we went to Wicklow mountains which is just over an hour away, plus lots of other places in Galway, Carlow, Tipperary & Waterford. We would definitely stay again as we did enjoy it very much.

Lovely little huts, warm and clean, beautifully decorated, peaceful and picturesque surroundings. Perfect for get-away-from-it-all break. The birdsong and greenery were glorious. Close to Kilkenny by car. Quiet, rural location.

No coffee! I had a bit of a crisis when I realised there was none supplied 🤣!! Perhaps a mini wrapped soap would be nice for the shower.

Went with my girlfriend for 2 nights and har a great time. Close enough to town and in a beautiful area, hosts are very nice and price is really good for what you get.

They are aware of it already I believe, but there is very little hot water for a shower! We'll definitely be back again so hopefully they get the chance to look at that, honestly perfect other than that ☺️
