First, know that what you book on Vrbo might not be what you actually end up getting. And it’s not small differences either. We purposely booked a Vrbo that had a large living room with floor to ceiling windows to do a first look on our wedding day. About one month before the big day I notice the pictures on the Sonder app no longer match what I booked on Vrbo. I chatted with the Sonder team who told me there is a disclaimer when you book that you might not get the same rental you booked. The disclaimer is all the way at the bottom of the description so it is hidden. What rental service lets you book a room and then changes what room you get? You book something based on the pictures. We got a rental that was a lot smaller than what we wanted and even though the Sonder customer service rep “guaranteed” we had the same room as the pictures when I booked it. To top it off, the rental was not even worth the price. The walls were all scuffed up and the rental was obviously made as cheaply and quickly as possible - it was falling apart. We won’t be staying at any Sonder property again and probably will stay away from Vrbo as well.

The space was perfect - a few updates needed but overall clean and comfortable. Parking is not available right by the unit, so be prepared to drag your luggage a half mile.

Property is as pictured on the interior, but our view was of storage building directly across from the front. Neighborhood felt safe at night and we were able to walk to downtown attractions. About a 2 mile walk to the bean. Parking was a bit challenging but with local app you can find a public parking garage. Overall we would use Sonders again for our next stay on our next vacation.

Perfect stay for a weekend getaway with family. A little south of the loop, a little hike that we did not mind. Perfect for Soldier Field and the Field Museum area. Access to mass transit if needed was also very good. Great view of the city skyline to the north. We would recommend this place.

Nice place as seen in the vrbo property info. Ok neighborhood close to our friend we surprised. Entry was fairly easy..a little tricky sometimes. Great Weekend!

Upon arrival my company was placed in incorrect unit. The initial booking was through VRBO, who then partners with Sonder” higher end” STR (short term). The unit that I initially booked and paid in 6/22 had a increase in price and a city view. When I went back to the website the unit in which we we’re placed was less not to mention so filthy. I immediately called VRBO and Sonder as I was advised by VRBO and vice versus by Sonder. I was on the phone for over 3 hours between the two companies and not to mention hung up one several times and nothing resolved. I was there with my company and employees for a conference. Although most of over days were spent at the convention center there was a lot of money spent in preparation to do this a a business. Did I mention the unit which I initially booked was not the what were placed in!!! Filthy, pictures crooked, coffee tables, mirrors, microwave, bathroom sink didn’t drian. Overall worst experience very unprofessional.
