The lodge was clean and comfortable with lots of little touches that made it perfect. we had great nights sleep as it’s so quiet and lovely. when I go on holiday I am always sad to leave but happy to be back in my own bed with my own comforts but it wasn’t like that at all here, a real home from home. we had a slight issue with our hot tub temp which the warden went above and beyond updating us and checking on things. the reception staff were also great, friendly and welcoming. all in all a great break start to finish, we will be coming back for my birthday!

there was nothing. if I had to make a suggestion a trellis that you couldn’t see through to offer more privacy on the decking would have been nice. I noticed the shrubs that have been planted on the property line however, so I’m sure that will be great once they come in.

The lodge was exceptional with all fittings and furnishing of a very high standard. The owner had thought of everything to ensure the perfect relaxing and comforting break. The surrounding were idyllic, the wildlife surrounded us daily with geese and goslings, hares rabbits and deer. It was wonderful. I particularly liked the hottub, which was cleaned and checked twice daily.

What a stunning lodge and what a stunning setting. So peaceful. Hot tub was just superb, and really made our stay! Reception staff on the site were so, so friendly and helpful. Gorgeous walks through the woods - saw plenty of wildlife. Lovely lunch in Millers Tea Rooms just as you enter the park. Beds amazingly comfortable. This lodge just has so many handy features and is furnished to the highest of standards. Stunning!

The ONLY thing I'd change is the towels. A fluffy bath sheet would have been much nicer than the rather thin bath towels provided.

We really enjoyed the hot tub. The lodge was lovely, had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.

A dryer for clothes and Blackout blinds for the bedrooms would have been an added bonus.
