The bathroom was so small a tall person can barely move while showering.

the toilet lid broken, the toilet drained well! - the shower is broken! - the disastrous and uncomfortable mattress! - and the dirty and old bedding - broken door handles

The rooms were nice for the price. The location was excellent because it was a little further from the center of town so the road/town noise was minimal. It was very close the the Staubbach falls and our room actually looked directly at the waterfall.

The location is absolutely amazing. The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly and will answer any of your questions. The bed is comfy and our room was very spacious.

The hotel is a little older, our room had a small leak in the bathroom above the sink. Nothing big enough to effected our stay.

Tho action is great, and the view was wonderful. Staff is super friendly.

The bed was not very comfortable, and there was a funny smell in the stairwell.

It’s an old building. Had a hard time locking the room when leaving. At 5am we wanted to walk to valley, and by trying to lock the door, we woke up a neighbor who was kind of mad. My finger was red by pushing hard on the key.

Bathroom was tight and floor cracking. The key system was not the best. We had a coffee, we wanted a second one but they asked us to pay for the second one.

The location and views are great.(not from our room though)

Staff was unfriendly. Internet work on and off. Beds were uncomfortable. Towels smelt mouldy. The shower head sprayed water all over the ceiling and wall when you open tap up fully, you need to lower the pressure in order to have the water run on your body. Staff were being loud in the carpark long after restaurant had closed.

Location and a terrace with a side-view of the Staubbach waterfall. Reasonably good restaurant. Free parking.

No TV, no toiletries (looks like the soap ran out), no WiFi, dirty terrace. Some staff were dismissive. Hotel seemed unmanned from late evening and the morning.

staff at reception were rude and unhelpful, room less than basic. we were booked for three nights, stayed one and ate the cost. reservation said breakfast available for extra cost, no breakfast. we had to walk a half mile for coffee. were told breakfast was available next door, which was an empty building. bathroom window would not shut, balcony was filthy. booking should remove this hotel.

wifi is hopeless, the pw given is like a generic but no signal . I manage to find out the ssid and pw on one of the router near my room. it will be good to have a small table and chair for eating and surf on my laptop.

there’s nothing at the property, not even a kettle. the check in place isn’t even at the hotel. we had to walk a few hundred meters to another location to check in.

no staff to greet you a sign left out in the dark advising you to go to another hotel for check in, but when you get there the staff at the other hotel have no idea what’s going on and says the owner is crazy, after speaking to other guests who were extremely unhappy they said to go to the base cafe for check in which we did and that was another 250 meters down the road with luggage and snowboards that was fun!! Then once settled in there was still rubbish in the room and no toilet roll and the restaurant and bar was closed the whole time we were there it was an absolute joke of a place

We were bounced around town trying to find someone to check in with. Apparently this is a common problem. If you don’t have people to open the rooms then don’t say they are available. Then when we finally had the room, no wifi, so cold it didn’t warm up until morning, and heat in bathroom didn’t work at all.

The bathroom needs a vent fan better

This hotel could not be more basic(which is a nice way of putting it). Check in was strange - we were emailed to check in at another hotel down the street. When we got to that hotel they told us to go back to the first one. When we did get our keys (I booked two rooms) I asked which key was for the “family room” I had booked and reception said they didn’t know and it wasn’t their job to know which rooms offered what. When we eventually got to our room it was not very clean. There were wine spills on the night tables and there were personal belongings (toothpaste, make up) left in the bathroom mirror cabinet. There is also no soundproofing to speak of and during the night there was a rather loud party taking place in a nearby room but as there is no hotel reception there was no one to call to for support in keeping the noise down. The hotel does have a view from some rooms - but it’s lauterbrunnen- views are not hard to find. I do not recommend this hotel.
