L This was absolutely a great place to stay. I am a traveler, not a holiday maker. Where possible I travel by local bus and l tend to stay into maybe three star hotels for around US$25. The hotel itself is fantastic. Very nice room, comfortable bed, good AC, I have my own mini fridge, bathroom is deluxe and there’s lots of hot water. There is a shared kitchen, which is always in a very clean state. It has a stove oven, a microwave a kettle and a fridge with a freezer. Things go wrong or equipment fails, what matters is how it’s handled. The microwave stopped working. With a few hours of my notification to Malik, a brand new one was sitting there. The cleaning service for the room is excellent. The on-site manager, Demba is unbelievably helpful and knows a little English, but Google Translate works well. the beach and waterfront are about 250 m away, but be very careful about the current To get the best taxi service use the app Yango and the payment app Wave

I came to Dakar late driving from Gambia and check-in was well organized despite the late hours. The apartment is on the top of the building just by the beach, with a nice view of the city. It has a large sun terrace, kitchen, two bedrooms with a bathroom, and a living room with large TV. Driving to the city center is 4000-6000 CAF with a taxi. Good restaurants around.

There were frequent electrical cut-offs The kitchen could be better equipped

Room was a good size and bed comfy. We appreciated the aircon. Smart TV had English channels. Lift and access to a kitchen was an added bonus. Team on site were very helpful and friendly.

Some guests a little bit noisy

The manager speaks proper English but the receptionist did not and I felt like he was too shy to therefore talk to me. He could have just asked this little question: Do you need anything else? And well he did so more or less after two days.

The room could be more dressed, meaning a carpet on the floor, a towel for the badroomfloor. Towels hanged for showering, so I hadnt needed to ask for it in the middle of the night. A curtain in a good state. A garbage bin and a tv. ??!!
