New carpets could freshen the house up

The location is great and free parking so close to the Centre was a bonus. The beds are comfortable and its a big enough space.

That locale is ideal for those desiring to immerse themselves in an archetypal British residence - it is assured that no analogous abodes exist in the United States! The most recent refurbishment was ostensibly conducted during the era of Charles Dickens, a characteristic that augments its ambiance. Aside from that, it is equipped with all the essential appliances, all of which are in operational condition, and any other requisite amenities. Canterbury is not merely a delightful destination in its own right, but also a strategically advantageous base for exploring the entirety of Kent county, courtesy of its two railway stations, one of which is a mere five-minute stroll from the residence.

Upon remitting a non-redeemable sum for my accommodation, I was subsequently confronted with a series of supplementary stipulations: the execution of a lease contract, the payment of a $190 security deposit, and the completion of a laborious background verification process. I harbor no opposition to the stipulations per se; one's domicile, one's regulations. However, my contention lies in the fact that these stipulations were disclosed post my commitment to the transaction, rather than prior - a practice I perceive as lacking in candor. Fortuitously, following a phone conversation, Harry acquiesced to forgo the background verification segment, and the security deposit was reimbursed approximately a week subsequent to my departure.

Accommodation was clean and comfortable. Location was great to visit our daughter who is studying at University.

Kitchen facilities were poor if you wanted to cook meals. There was no dedicated parking space. We did always manage to find a space but one of the residents asked us to move from outside her property one day.

Really happy with the property. We were a group of 6 people it was perfect for what we needed. We had a car, however those without a car will have no issues given how close to the city centre it is.

A lovely large 3 bed house in a central location which has been furnished to a stylish standard.

No problems

A last minute booking for me, my partner and some friends staying in Canterbury. The property is in a great location with plenty of space and is catered with all essentials. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back when in Canterbury again.

Really disappointed when we arrived to find most things broken. Shower was a nightmare and bathroom floor and kitchen floor rotten. Radiator full of rust.sofabed broken. Kitchen not fully equipped and the pans was in such a state I had to go and buy some. I could go on . Unless this place has some serious work done I would advise against staying. Parking is hard as the street is full of cars. The road itself isn't nice at all I would not come back to area or house. Host was nice enough when spoke to him. Deof not worth the money for the week. I booked this when there was no reviews. Now there are and saying similar to me. I feel even more annoyed as obviously nothing been done for new people
