The host was so helpful and quick to respond. Always available to assist and advise. Very pleasant and accomodating. The facilities were comprehensive and I was comfortable for the week. They went the extra mile to help me move from one room to another without me having to remove my luggage, as I was staying in two of their rooms over a five day period. Everything had been thought of for what a traveller will need. There was even a microwave, but be careful with steam as the fire alarm is close by.

The only issues I had was something the hosts cannot influence- very steep stairs which was difficult with hard case luggage, the age of the property meant that it was noisy in bad weather or with other guests moving about. Not something that can be easily solved but nevertheless had a very pleasant stay, I would stay again.

Property has a good location. Easy to access

The property was filthy. It was quite obvious that our studio has not been cleaned since the last person stayed. The bedding was not changed, hairs everywhere in the pillows and mattress. The bathroom looked like someone just wiped everything with a cloth, the mirror was smeared, shower had hairs and watermarks. We asked the owner to address our issues and they did change the bedding but everything else remained same. The plugs, light switches and kitchen area had finger prints all over them. Cobwebs around all the windows. It was not a pleasant stay as we didn’t want to touch anything, we are just confused on how the cleaners/owner thought that the property is adequately cleaned. Property needs a touch up, marks, dents and paint chipping everywhere. We would not recommend staying here.

The location was really good a short walk into the centre of Oxford.

It's advertised as a flat but there was no cooker, it should specify there isn't one. The matress was very thin sponge and uncomfortable. It wasn't as clean as it should have been.

Location of apartment was fantastic. Just a short walk away from the centre. It was very cosy, clean & had everything we needed while down helping our daughter settle into her 1st year of Uni. Yolanda was very helpful & had great communication. We will definitely be back:-)

CLEAN

3 flights of steep stairs, which is not made obvious in the description. Stale, old bedlinen & towels. Very basic facilities. The whole place is tired & in need of refreshment. This the first negative review I have ever left so I will say that the property was clean.

Small but cozy with all commodities (towels, kitchenware, microwave, fridge). Confortable and well located (5min from train station and about 12 min from city center by walk). The host was very kind to let me check in earlier.

There are two sets of very stiff stairs.

Clean top floor room. Nice location almost in the center. Big bathroom.

No air condition taking into account that the room is under the hot roof. No lift with narrow stairs. Small bed for tall and wide man with weird different sized mattresses. No parking in the street for hotel customers neither in the railway station because using the parking app require local telephone number. Preferred to utilize park & ride method, if moving by car.

It had what we needed, no frills but adequate. It was well-ventilated (very hot night) and the fridge was handy. It had an iron and ironing board which I was glad to find, plus a variety of facilities that we didn't need (but others might) including hairdryer and free wifi. The shower was a walk-in, no bath but that suited us better. It was all well-renovated and a lot of new fitments. Care had obviously been taken with fitting out with new laminate floor and furniture. Mattress adequate. Up the street is the Westgate Hotel and Café, excellent place for a cooked breakfast in the morning. The host, Yolanda was very helpful beforehand with information about parking which worked for us. Key entry was easy. We had privacy to come and go as we wanted, which was nice.

The stairs. Two flights, very narrow and cramped and not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. I have a knee problem and just about managed. I wished I had considered this beforehand. It would have been a good idea to mention this on the booking ad ie 'Not suitable for people with mobility issues' as it would have been hard to get a decent sized suitcase up there and for anyone not fit and able to get up at all. If anyone had been more 'disabled' than me it would have been a disaster. It was clean enough but domestic clean rather than hotel clean ie the shower had a few hairs in the tray that weren't ours (but mainly very clean and new surfaces throughout so not complaining). If you were very fussy you might not like that, though overall much cleaner than our home bathroom. The style of the place. Actually it was fine for us but it is a small house divided into bedsits - information which I thought should be more upfront in the ad. With hindsight I realised that we did not see any photos of the exterior beforehand. As I say, it was not an issue for us but others might want to check that out before deciding whether or not to book

Clean, spacious, and comfortable. Furniture was modern and functional. Check in and building security was safe and simple. Communication from the host was clear and concise.

Aside form the narrow stairs and a few scratches and scrapes on the walls and furnniture (general wear-and-tear, to be expected), I have no complaints.
