It was surprisingly quiet for the location! And super well priced for a pub hotel

Location right across from the station. It was above a pub, next to the train line and in the flight path and I expected that it would be noisy BUT it was extremely well soundproofed and quiet. Amazing!

No where secure to leave bags if you can't take them with you when you check out or if you check in early. They were kept safe beneath the bar but not locked up!

I loved how close this was to the train station and to the live music bar the Camelot Lounge. I loved that I was able to get a late checkout. Loved the way this pub had been rebuilt so beautifully and we had a balcony off room . super clean and comfortable with restaurant downstairs for lunch and dinner and beer garden . Nicely furbished

would have liked some suggestions in room for places nearby for breakfast as this was not available .. but found some easily

Great location. Such a lovely old pub, beautifully restored. The rooms were quiet and clean. There's an interesting selection of beverages at the bar. It has an old-school feel with modern conveniences.

I think it is a little pricey, but nevertheless, I will stay there again, because of its central location and its privacy.

The soundproofing! We were shook to the core when we went down to the bar, or the nearby cafes, or the train station across the road; the level of noise that we COULDNT hear in our room! Even the planes directly overhead.....heard nothing! Brilliant sleep 👌 Lovely bar staff, delicious menu

Everything. Great staff, superb location. They kindly stored our luggage for the day. Bedroom was one of the best we've had. Staff kindly organised a taxi to the airport for us.

Just be aware that they don't open until 10am.

Upon a very late arrival, the kitchen was shut, we were hungry and asked the lovely lady booking us in if there was anywhere to eat around here, she brought us toasted sandwiches free of charge. We were very grateful and they were delicious. The staff went above and beyond. Loved having the balcony.

The shower head was too high and the glass partitioning was too short which meant the water came out into the toilet area. Otherwise it was wonderful.

Awesome room, across the road from the train station was great. Had dinner there both nights I stayed and was super yummy! Bed was super comfy, room was nice and clean! Staff were lovely.

The room is still pretty bright regardless of the curtains been down. No streaming services, just reg tv. Other then that no dramas, it's a great little place I'll definitely be back.
