the property is intimate, beautiful and has all amenities. I was traveling solo so the the helpful and very friendly staff made me feel very welcome. I want to personally thank Gaurav / Sagar / Nitesh / Gurveer for always being upbeat, smiling and making me feel at home. Good location and just 5-10 min from anything you want to see. Food is delicious and you can eat indoors w AC, or upstairs overlooking the palace and lake. As an added nice touch they offer complimentary high tea with sweets on the rooftop 18:00-19:30.

Extremely helpful staff (helped talk to someone in Hindi over the phone as I was unable to), they arranged a ticket for a dance show too. Good views of the lake from the rooftop.

Staff were helpful and accommodating. The hotel itself is modern and tastefully decorated. Breakfast is delicious, lovely hotel next to the palace.

There is a huge tree infront of the property which obstructs your lake view from the rooms and also the terrace.

The view is good and it's in a prime location ..however the accessibility to the hotel sucks . The lane heading to the hotel is very poorly maintained hence difficult to travel alone and with luggage. Very dirty roads.

The view of the lake from the rooms and restaurant is unmatched in this price range. The room war very clean and the breakfast could satisfy every need. Finally, the staff was very friendly and helpful, always there to meet our all our needs. The hotel is also really central which is very convenient.

The city is restructuring one road above the hotel, but this didn't bother us neither for checking in or out nor in the transportation from place to place.

nicely built and calm property at the city centre but stil away from hustle. very next to lake. only caveat is access road to property is tricky. be sure to call property before you arrive for comfortable checkin. great room with amazing view. sunset from terrace is breathtaking. food was delicious. definitely suggest to enjoy variety breakfast options. courteous helpful and humble staff. definitely feel welcoming and like home.

We had a wonderful stay at Moustache Luxuria Udaipur. The attention to detail (a welcome drink, fruit, a bottle of wine, a handwritten note) was very much appreciated. The calm and the view (both from the room and from the rooftop) were absolutely stupendous and the location was perfect. The complementary high tea to watch the sunset was a highlight of our stay, both at the hotel and during our trip in general. The staff was both friendly and courteous. The beds were very comfortable and the shower fantastic.

There were excessive messages before our arrival. Some were necessary to arrange pick-up but many were unnecessary.

Breakfast was great — we could order as much as we wanted and everything was local food. We enjoyed the included tuk-tuk provided to us to get to and from our car to the hotel. The service was great and we enjoyed meeting them and how nice they were with us — always trying to accommodate our needs. Great location and views. Thanks a lot!

The rooms look nice though the materials are cheap and there are water stains on walls etc. The staff - Ravi, Poonam, Deviraj, Mahinder, Sonu etc. are very nice. Gaurav and Nitesh are incompetent and untrustworthy. Ravi should manage the hotel instead of the current managers. Sonu‘s food was good.

The access road is very steep and narrow and under construction. It is not accessible by car and you need to walk (almost impossible) or take a rickshaw everytime you want to leave the hotel. We were not informed that we have to walk until a day before arriving and didn’t know the condition of the road until we arrived. The managers Gaurav and Nitesh make a lot of excuses and lie continuously. We booked in advance and ended up paying 2.5X the going rate because they contacted us for a deposit which they refused to refund. (this is not shown on booking.com when you initially book) On complaining and a lot of arguments, they offered to reduce our rate to what felt fair as an apology, an hour later, they withdrew their offer and insisted booking.com wouldn’t allow it. They kept hounding us to pay them upfront inspite of a hefty deposit and threatened to lock us out of the room on Diwali day otherwise. As a family we were meeting after a year and they completely ruined our trip, we were wasting hours everyday arguing with them. One room‘s AC didn’t work for more than 45 mins at a time (they said because of low voltage) and after a sleepless night they moved us to a nicer room and then called saying, you have to move again tomorrow since this is booked up and by the way the new room won’t have a view. They insisted that they doing us a favour since we complained about the AC. This is probably the worst hotel experience we‘ve ever had and we‘ve spent hundreds of nights in hotels all over India and the world. FYI they do not have an elevator so you have to walk up many flights of stairs. They also told us at the beginning that this is a hotel for young people so perhaps we shouldn’t have stayed here if we didn’t want to walk. This is ageism and also should be mentioned upfront.

It is very neat and clean property. It is on the bank of pichola lake, just next to Udaipur City palace.

This place was perfect. On check-in we found out that they upgraded us to a better room! The rooms are super clean and spacious. They have all the amenities that you will need! The staff are amazing (all of them!)! I had food poisoning on the last day and we had to extended our stay. The staff did everything to make me feel as comfortable as possible, from cooking bland food delivery to my room (without charge), message me to make sure I was ok, they even give you complementary tea and biscuits/brownies everyday on the rooftop. The rooftop is amazing and have the perfect view. The location is right next to the city palace and 5mins from everywhere. I will definitely recommend and come back to this hotel. Thank you so much to the team :)

1. the staff at reception was utterly discourteous. till time of arrival I was continuously chased to make partial payment to confirm the booking for which numerous calls were made.Once the payments were made,the hotel didn’t bother to take care of arrival formalities even while knowing well that to reach to their property one needs to get into an autorikshaw that too from a congested Parking approx 1 km away!! I was made to wait almost 40 minutes after car parking and was given a number of a auto driver to coordinate directly for errand. it was so very disappointing to receive such hospitality. even the auto was sent without enough petrol to ply us back to the hotel.after great difficulty we were able to reach hotel. 2. I expressed my disappointment to the reception and sought an interaction with the hotel manager( some mr. rahul Vyas) which till my checkout was not synchronised by the hotel.I waited close to 10am to receive the manager to put forward myview and dissatisfaction ,only to hear that “ sahab late ayenge “. Awful to see that even in hospitality business the people arrive on their will to their offices!!! 3. I would strongly recommend all readers to weigh their options very well before booking this property as what you likely will experience after paying close to 9k is a 10/10 room with lake in fringes(more of tree less of lake) from your window ( broadcasted by hotel as “lake view” ). complimented with an utterly disappointing reception and hospitality. Yet from the roof top ,the real scenic view of lake is visible. 4. the only positive point noted during the stay was that the staff responsible for breakfast was very courteous .Also the food /breakfast served was good .
