The property is perfectly located and so close to the cathedral and Bailgate.
From the minute you open the door, you are greeted by the most beautiful and grand interior.
Beds and sofas are very comfortable. There are so many additional touches that make your stay feel comfortable and homely.
The kitchen is well equipped with everything you’d need.
High chair, travel cot and bedding were all waiting for us to use with little one.
Nothing was too much trouble from the hosts. They popped by to greet us, which was lovely and their communication prior to arrival was perfect.
It was reassuring to know they were just a text away, should we need anything (which we didn’t as the stay was perfect).
We would not hesitate to stay here again and will definitely be recommending to our friends and family.
Street parking outside the property but we did not have any issues finding a space close by (even after we returned from the shop).

I loved the space and layout of the property, the secure court yard area which was lovely for our dog and my husband who is a smoker. The well equipped kitchen.
Parking is tricky as the property does not have its own parking area but we found a 24 hour secure car park only 5 minutes walk away from the property.

Location was perfect. Area was very quiet, house was large, warm and very comfortable. Tthe big sofa in the lounge was great. Wonderful facilities like big bath with great water pressure, full oven, washing machine and Netflix for the kids!! When we had a question the owners were very quick to respond. I'd visit again in a heartbeat.
Nitpicky- but single mattresses were very lumpy and bumpy. Probably need replacing. That's the one thing I could think of!

Location was perfect. Close to cathedral and shops. The house was beautifully decorated and the owners communicate was excellent.
Whilst there was a step provided for getting in and out the shower (over bath shower in a very deep bath) my father was unable to use the shower. Whilst not a problem for able bodied people anyone with disabilities or elderly might struggle.

Was a beautiful house close to Lincoln city centre, very clean and comfortable to relax and watch tv, very clean and well kept.
Only one thing ruined the weekend and it was the double bed, it was too small to 2 adults and the mattress was domed so wanted to roll onto the floor all the time, if it had a comfy flat mattress it’d of been one of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed.

Parked just across the road but didn't need the car as everything was in walking distance.

The house is very near the cathedral and castle. The high ceilings, gorgeous corner sofa, kitchen, bedroom and toilet facilities are very high standard, and the lovely courtyard out front is an added bonus. Owners were quick to reply to any queries and very friendly and generous.

The house was beautiful and well equipped. The hosts were friendly and helpful. They welcomed our two little dogs as members of our family which meant a lot to.us. we enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to everyone.

Great location for the older part of Lincoln like the Cathedral and Castle, but still an easy enough walk for more of the shops/pubs if you wanted. Lovely light and airy and modern enough but still some of the original feel about it.
Host very promptly left a new coffee machine for us after getting feedback from previous guest that it was not working properly.
No on site parking at all, but opposite and 1 min walk around the corner were unrestricted and free space when we needed them.

the house is roomy yet cosy, well-equipped and very well located. the hosts are fantastic.

Excellent location, very comfortable. For a quick family get away this is perfect. I stayed with my kids for three days, which was enough to see what Lincoln had to offer, from the castle wall walk to the arcade warehouse.
Parking relies on street parking. So long as you get parked this is convenient and safe. But there's a chance you might not get parked in the evening and have to go to a nearby carpark.

Beautifully decorated property, which had everything we needed for a few days away to celebrate our daughters graduation.
The location is fantastic if you are wanting to enjoy the Bailgate area of the city, with many restaurants, pubs and independent shops on the doorstep, as well as the Cathedral and Castle.
Parking could potentially have been an issue , however we parked in a car park around the corner and then moved the car to the property once local workers had left for the day.

Could have done with a dishwasher as some of the pots were not as clean as they could have been on arrival.

This gem of a place is quite literally nestled within the first few properties of the main road, BUT we heard no traffic. Our hosts had ensured that the lounge and main bedrooms each had a running fan as the hot weather was unforgiving...and we had a welcome refreshment waiting for us in the kitchen...it's the littlest of things that make the biggest good impression.
The short stay for us was just what we needed
On a personal note, I am used to a bigger main bed, but most certainly not a deal breaker. My suggestion is that the three stairs up to the bedrooms needs a small handrail for persons who battle climbing stairs, other than that, almost perfect :)

The house was furnished beautifully and very clean. The outside space was also delightful with lovely furniture. The location was excellent and the Sam and Justine could not have been more helpful.

The beautiful cottage is located just next to the amazing cathedral. We really enjoyed to sit outside and hear the bell.
The cottage had everything we needed and a lovely living room with place to the whole family. We will recommend anyone to make a stay there.
The bed in the main bedroom is really noisy.

We fell in love with the place. The accommodation was beyond our expectations! Very beautiful house, clean and comfortable. We went for our son's graduation and the ceremony took place in the cathedral which is a few meters away. Plenty of parking place in front of the house. The owners were very helpful. We appreciate that Sam gave us a late check out due to the ceremony.

Great location close to the cathedral. Pretty enclosed courtyard which was safe and secure for the dog. House was beautiful and the hosts were really friendly and welcoming. Recommended without hesitation!
