Great location and very quiet

Our dual aspect room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and well furnished, in a quiet residential location with lovely garden views, and located within walking distance of Hastings Town Centre. Our host was very helpful and accommodated a vegan diet. The breakfast has a good selection of cereals, teas and coffee, hot cooked breakfast and generous toast with good choice of spreads/jams. There is ample secure parking, and the fridge in the room was useful to keep cold drinks and snacks. It was a bonus to have a bath in the en-suite though an electric shower over it for those who prefer to shower.

Some areas of the bathroom (grouting, towel rack) were in need of renovation/replacement.

We found it the perfect place to rest when dealing with a death in the family with its quite location, beautiful gardens and ease of parking. It had all that we needed and more, a lot of thought had been put into all the little extras. The room tastefully decorated and relaxing, a large comfortable bed, and the choice at breakfast was excellent. The hosts made us very welcome. I would definitely recommend it.

Our large private bathroom was spotless and again beautifully decorated, the only thing which would have improved our stay was if it was en-suite. It was directly opposite our room so not a real problem especially as we only stayed the one night. We think all the other rooms are en-suite. It definitely would not stop us staying again.

The hosts were extremely charming and most helpful. They let us check in earlier than normal check in time, as we arrived in town early and the room was ready, had it not been ready, we would have had to wait. The accommodation is clean and comfortable and the breakfast provided is good quality and value for money. The mini fridges in the bedrooms are useful for fresh milk and keeping drinks cool. 2 complimentary bottles of water were provided which is a nice touch.

Difficult to see the key pad properly on the electric security gate at night, needed to grab a torch from the car. a minor inconvenience.

Lovely place peaceful clean and sociable host and good parking.
