A nice and clean place to stay. Close to the waterfront side with the cruise ships and the downtown area with great little bars and restaurants. It was nice to have a quiet place outside to enjoy the bottle of wine the owner provides. Jsut a note that there is no shampoo/conditioner/soap provided other than hand soap. Not a big deal but something for travellers to note as we were not prepared after traveling around a few different cities over several days. The place is small but great for a couple looking to explore the city and have a comfortable and nicely decorated place to sleep and relax.

We traveled from MN to Galveston, TX to leave on a cruise. We decided to stay a couple of days in Galveston before leaving and this was the perfect location for my husband and I! We got a lot of walking in, had some fabulous food, met some wonderful people and have so many things to do when we come back!! Thank you!!

As other reviews mentioned, the unit is entered thru a garage and thru an additional garage door. This actually made it feel very safe and secure as young women travelling. The location was absolutely perfect for everything we wanted to do, and we were able to find parking very close to the unit on the street. Because the unit is managed thru a property management company, there was a delay in hearing back about check in codes, but as this was my first time staying there, I did inquire about that info a bit early to arrival. The unit itself was clean and had all utilities described in the listing, but the AC unit was a bit loud at times. Overall we super enjoyed our stay and I would definitely stay here again on my next visit!

We stayed here for one night since it was close to the cruise port. It was a clean space and super nice! The cleaning people forgot to leave us towels, but we sent a message and the host brought us towels shortly after. I would stay here again.

I am a member of a krewe and came to participate in parades. The location is perfect! It is about a block from the Mardi Gras entrance gate. So nice to be able to walk to and from my group’s activities. Bed is very soft, I prefer very firm, so it wasn’t my favorite, but that’s personal preference, pillows were great and it was clean. Kitchen had everything I needed. Parking is difficult! Glad I was able to find a good spot and leave my car parked for the weekend.

I felt very fortunate to be able to book this space again for the Christmas holiday. 2nd time staying here. This time I got to use the portable electric fireplace and it kept the space nice and cozy! I love the location, making it super easy to walk to all parts of downtown and catch a trolley to other parts of the island. As a woman traveling alone i always feel safe here. The lady who owns the unit loves in the front, has two really cute tiny dogs and a nice enclosed outdoor area. This is my spot to stay when I come to visit family and friends!

It shows a picture of the front of the building with the address. But, what is not clear is that, that is the owners place. What you are really renting is the garage apartment upstairs. And that you have to access it through the garage door. It also says it has a queen size bed. But it's not. It's a very short, very uncomfortable full sizebed. In the pictures it shows a K cup type coffee pot. But if you want coffee, you would have to bring your own K cups. Unless you want the decaf ones that are there. The AC is very loud and will blow right in your face when it cycles on. It was definitely not a good experience at all. Especially for the gouge up on price because of the rally.

As a woman traveling alone, it was perfect. I felt very safe. The owner, Lee, was friendly and accommodating. Walking distance to downtown, the Strand historical district, and easy to catch a trolley to the beach. Dog friendly. I grew up in Galveston. This location was wonderful for my needs. True that there is no parking, but it was super easy to park for free on 19th street.

My partner and I bright our dogs down for a spur of the moment vacation. It was our first time in Galveston and it couldn't have gone better. This space was a great find as traveling with larger dogs can make securing lodging at a reasonable rate difficult. The space was clean, perfectly sized to accommodate us comfortably. The amenities were perfect and exactly as listed. The back yard area was so cute and convienient for quick potty walks. Any communication was prompt, but we weren't wanting for anything. The location was awesome as we were in walking distance of a ton of cool shops, restaurants and bars. The drive to the beach was easy and super cloae. We have every intention of returning to Galveston at some point and will definitely look to stay here again!

The property is beautiful and well kept. It had everything you need for a quick getaway. Plenty of room and very close to the strand with shopping, restaurants, and night life. I will definitely book again with them! Thank you for having us!

Wonderful property and location. We had our pups with us and they loved it too. We were grateful that Madison was able to accommodate us with an extra day at the last minute. Thank you helping make a birthday trip amazing!

For my first ever experience I greatly enjoyed the stay and the ease of the process

The studio was super clean and nice! There was toys and a bed for our 2 dogs that we brought on the vacation with us! There is an amazing little patio space with astroturf between the studio (guest house) and the owners place that our dogs loved, especially when they had to potty in the middle of the night it was great not having to roam the streets for a place to potty! Overall I would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Galveston with dogs! It is also in a great location by the strand so there are tons of restaurants and bars in walking distance!

Enjoyed the location. Had a stackable washer & dryer. The owners are dog lovers and will allow a pet to stay. Very clean property.

Wonderful place! The only disappointment was there were no sheets for the sofa bed.

The property has a nice setup. The central garden area that is pet friendly is a nice touch. When we first entered the guest house it was hot, the window AC unit was not on. Their was an odor, that at first I thought it was pet smells but I think it was sewer gas. I believe the water in one of the pea traps had evaporated and therefore letting the sewer gas enter the unit. Took must of the weekend for the smell fully to dissipate.

This was a great little studio for a beach trip. It’s very dog friendly - a nice patio for the dog, a dog bed and toys/treats. Loved being 6 minutes from the beach, and walking distance to some great restaurants. Our only complaint was the gnats/ants in the sink.

You had to go through through garage after entering a code then through another garage door and then up the stairs into a small studio over the garage. Bed was very small and Nats were everywhere in the room. After I checked in and my wife and i were in bed the cleaning ladies came in. But we still had a good time regardless of all the disappointments.

Cute, comfortable & quaint. All the amenities in a small space. Host provide a bottle of wine, amenities to make the dogs comfortable, bathroom items, and plenty of towels. Bed is a double and fairly comfortable. Pull-out couch super soft. This is an efficiency so it's perfect for a couple + pet(s). Would be hard with kid(s). Easy to walk / drive to plenty of things to do. Washer & dryer was FABULOUS to have! Wonderful little gem that I'm super glad we found! Really made our anniversary comfortable! Loved staying here and highly recommend! Will stay again when back in town!

Our stay was awesome! We drove in earlier than anticipated and we were able to check in early this was great because this added an extra day to our trip. Our hosts was fantastic very accommodating to us and our pets. Place is centralized and within minutes to beach and entertainment. Awesome and comfortable, full kitchen and pantry all we had to do was bring our groceries we were set. It’s very clean they put a-lot of attention into the details. Definitely will be on the lookout for this place again when we come back.

Clean, organized and everything we needed foe our stay. Bed was super comfortable and so was the hideabed couch. Loved the layout and decor and the shower was clean and had great water pressure. A/C did not disappoint as it was cold and refreshing. The security to enter the property was better than most. Thank you so much fir your attention to detail. My family looks forward to staying her again.

If you are blessed & arrive on time, you should be able to locate 19th Street’s “freee parking” options across from the church! It was super well kit, safe, FREE, close to where we were going to be staying! Although I’m very prepared, thus house had ibuprofen and Band-Aids and safety pins and Ziploc bags, etc. I was very impressed! + had zero problems and did not “have to”communicate with the property owner (which is HUGE for myself) one, single time! Seriously, THANK you so very much for having us & we truly DO hope to come back soon!! We will be saving your property as a ‘favorite’ and would gladly stay there again in the near future!

The place was sparkling clean and quiet with many thoughtful touches and a comfortable full size Murphy bed.
