My fiancé and I were forced to find a place to stay last minute after another rental fell through. We found this house in Monument for the same cost as a hotel would have been and on such short notice! I was able to have my family come over and enjoy the hot tub and hang out comfortably! The owners were very responsive to questions over the duration of my stay. 10/10 do recommend. The beds were slightly on the stiff side, but comfortable and certainly not cardboard. Plenty of pillows to chose from! I was also very thankful to be able to wash my laundry before leaving town!

Insects found in kitchen sink and other areas within the home. 5. Pet urine on the floor and human hair on bed linens. Major disappointment in property rental and negative experience overall!

Oven inoperable when we arrived no prior warning, I brought premade casseroles and had ordered groceries I needed the oven for and didn’t get a working oven till halfway through our trip. The grass was 10 plus inches tall when we arrived and was mentioned the first night, it was never mowed so the six grandchildren we had with us didn’t get to play outside the whole trip. Also, the backyard is much smaller than the listing photos show since the converted the garage to another rental and put up another fence. Only one of the three AC units were installed when we arrived, they did send someone over to hook one more up a day or two later. We arrived at 4pm on Sunday right after the cleaners left (they were there when we first drove by at 3:30) all three trash bins were completely full but weren’t taken to the curb for the next morning trash pickup so my husband noticed the trash man coming and rushed them out to the curb so we didn’t have overflowing trash all week. The kitchen didn’t even have a pot big enough to make pasta in for a family of 4 let alone a large group, the pot’s & pans were very lacking for a house that sleeps 14 people. Responses from the host (their team) were slow and many times contradictory to other responses. We had a damage claim for a broken TV and we left three days ago and I can’t get them to fill out their portion of the insurance form so that I can be reimbursed for the amount taken from the security deposit.

The home was located perfectly for what we were doing in Monument. The home allowed for us and our extended family to all have our own rooms with comfort and privacy. It was clean and ready for us on time. Ryan and Alex were very helpful as we needed to add additional days to our time.

House was very spacious and accommodating. We loved the serenity of Monument and how accessible it is to a "larger city" while still having everything you need within a 5-10 min drive. Neighborhood was quiet, and the nearby park was very cute. Kitchen was stocked w everything we needed, as were the bathrooms and laundry areas. We were very grateful for that. Owners were very communicative, and yet let us enjoy our time and space. We appreciate that as well. Thanks for the wonderful, relaxing time in your lovely home. We hope to return!

You would think that with such a high cleaning fee the place would be spotless, but we found it to be otherwise. It was obvious the house has had guests, and needs to be better cared for. Check-in was easy, there were clear expectations and communicating with the host was a breeze.

The host was great. Checked up on us during our stay. Looks small when you drive up, but has plenty of room for a family of 7 adults and 6 kids. Very clean! Would recommend!

Property was not stocked with supplies for 14 guests. We had to purchase bath towels, hand towels, toilet paper, paper towels, coffee pot filters and coffee. There was popcorn and other snack remnants under the cushions of couch in basement. Food remnants under couch in living room. Sheets had to be brought to the property for the hide a bed. Electric outlet was popped out of the wall in one of the upstairs bedrooms. Fan in the basement bathroom was very dirty. Table in dining room did not seat 14 and there was not another table that could be used so we could eat together at tables. Dining room chairs are metal with no cushion. Seating in 2 common areas was not adequate. Front step has price of concrete missing that could be a trip hazard. There were no cranks to open the windows in the dining room. This could be an excellent home, sadly it has not had the time or attention needed to provide a positive experience for the guests.

The property worked well for our family of 13. All the grown ups had bedrooms and the kids had the bunk room and a pull out sofa. They had a blast playing foosball. We enjoyed the area and the house. Thanks!

The home was amazing! Pictures do not even begin to give an accurate description of the house, it was perfect! Our family of 3 generations had so much fun and we were all able to relax and enjoy the home and views around us. Even the town of Monument is delightful and fun! Lolley's Ice Cream is a must-try! I will definitely be returning to base my Colorado stays from here!

This is a very comfortable and spacious home - as well as attractively and simply decorated. Location was perfect for us and also near cute shops in the town of Monument.

I would definitely recommend this home. Very cozy and the cleanest home I have stayed in from VRBO. I am big on clean linens and this home had all clean linens. I was impressed. The owner was easy to get a hold of anytime of the day and was very respectful.
