My friends and I (The YaYa's) from Jr/Sr High School days all turned 65 this year and wanted to celebrate together with a long weekend. We chose Fredericksburg and Love Birds Getaway for our stay. The house was perfect - they thought of everything!

We decided to take our Mothers on a Mother-Daughter trip. With our schedules, we weren't able to be as "put together" as we normally are in our planning. Our first place fell through because of a wedding (I actually had to call multiple times because I never got responses to the emails). BUT THEN.... we found this place. And can I just say, sometimes rejection is PERFECTION!. This house was just perfect for us and for our moms. It an old home that has been painstakinglinly restored AND updated. The character was kept and the new only adds to the charm - updated bathrooms and kitchen. It it cozy in EVERY definition. And the decor...clearly the owner took time to find pieces that fit the house but are also functional. And the bed was one of the most comfortable I've every slept on. Plus, they have some of everything in case you leave something. Bath amenities, fully stocked kitchen (including pots, pans, potholders, etc.), all the things! And the wifi is speedy. Checking in was easy and no question went unanswered (although we didn't have many). It's just a short 5 minute drive from Main Street and we were blessed to find great parking every day - even on Sunday morning! Although there were 4 of us, I think 6 could easily be comfortable with the three bedroom/2 bath home, The dining table seats 6. The outdoor space is beautiful. If you are looking for a great stay, look here! You will not be disappointed!

My girlfriends and I loved our stay. The neighborhood was quiet and within easy walking distance of Main St., which meant we didn’t have to worry about parking when we went downtown. We spent one afternoon at Oktoberfest—about a 20-minute walk away. The house was super clean, spacious, and well-stocked. We especially enjoyed having morning coffee out on the back patio. Definitely would recommend and would be delighted to stay here again.

This is an excellent house to meet with friends and family. Property is set up to entertain if weather allows. Amenities in house are A+. Everything is of high quality and functioned properly. I would use it again.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! We loved the size of the house for our family (four adults and one 18 month old). The house was stocked with necessities that most properties do not include—this was so appreciated! I left a couple of items at the property after checking out by accident, and I was immediately contacted by the property manager and they worked with me to have my items returned. Would love to stay here again!

We enjoyed our crazy cousin’s weekend getaway! Very quiet neighborhood, close to shopping and restaurants. The house was very accommodating and beds are very comfortable! We will definitely be going back!

Well appointed and spacious condo. We enjoyed our stay. Short walk to town! The walk in the morning to the ski mountain transportation was not far (with all your ski gear). Definitely recommend this condo.
