-Price/quality wise = 10! -Quite close to the train station (for the train crossing the bridge/border from Posadas Argentina) -Comfortable bed -Descent bathroom with electric heated shower (can get too hot, but I think the owners can adjust the temperature if you ask) -WiFi worked well (most of the time, one night there was hickup, but apart from that it worked well) -Breakfast brought to your room by the owners

-Quite far from city center and bus terminal (but Uber works in Encarnacion, in case you have internet and don’t want to walk) -There’s no reception, so make sure the owners know when you’re coming or if you have mobile connection or internet (or ask the Wifi password before you arrive) - which I hadn’t, so had to wait - you can contact them

The host was amazing, one day is was raining really heavily so it was impossible to go out. We were hungry but didn’t go buy food because we didn’t want to walk in a river. She probably sensed our hunger from afar and brought us homemade lunch to our room <3

The owner is so friendly, nice and welcoming. Super nice room. All our needs were met without any issues. Loved our stay there.

Location is little bit far from centre but easily walkable. Nice neighbourhood.

The owners are very friendly and accommodating. The lady brought us lunch on our last day, and they answered all the questions we had through WhatsApp. WiFi worked great, and the location was good too.

Lovely clean room, easy access to the bus, lovely host and coffee in the morning, recommend if you're going here!

Slightly far from the town but plenty around the area and easy to catch the bus into town

Our stay at Hospedaje Encarnatión came out above any expectations we had. The room was cozy and comfortable with a nice bed, and good air-con and shower. Location is not bad, with access to some supermarkets, ATM, and a couple of restaurants. We recommend the nearby Cafe Amore for the best lunch deal in the area! Also: If you need a driver for sightseeing or transport to the bus terminal, it might be a good idea to ask for Ruben. But our experience was not only about the room, and the location. The owner Daniel, and all the other family members were the finest people we met during three months of traveling. We had a reservation for two nights, but extended time after time, and ended up staying a whole week. Hospedaje Encarnatión went to my top list after thirty years of backpacking. Thank you for an unforgettable week, Daniel!

Very simple hostel, priced accordingly. Helpful, friendly staff. Bit far from the centre.

Shower is either scorching hot or cold, nothing in between.

- Friendly family running the hostel. - A small complimentary breakfast is brought to you room. - Excellent value for money.

- It's quite noisy. Rooms are at street level and during the day, there is a lot of traffic noise (especially motorbikes are annoying). During the night, there is little traffic noise, but the walls between rooms are very thin, so you can easily hear people in the room next to you. - The shower is inside the toilet. - The breakfast is very basic (but free): coffee and some slices of fried bread. Unfortunately there is no possibility to have additional (paid) breakfast items. Also in the surrounding there are no breakfast options within walking distance.
