Perfect in every aspect ! The most beautiful experience so calm, staff are like family, with a genuine smile ! I can’t recommend this small piece of paradise enough! The whole experience is very personalized compared to big names hotels all over the world

service and flexibility

Tulia Zanzibar is truly a unique resort. Every aspect of the property is of utmost quality, the bungalows are spacious and extremely well appointed. There are only 16 rooms which makes it intimate and relaxing. The food is delicious, and most of all the team is super friendly, professional and will go over and beyond to make sure you spend an amazing time.

Nothing that we personally did not like, you should know that the property has direct access to the sea but no strand of beach per se. The pool and the sandy elevated deck however more than makes up for it. It is also located 1 hour from the airport and other attractions in Paje for instance. Again not a problem, just giving heads up.

one person smoking a cigar in the bar area. it was good that it almost totally open but the slight breeze move the obnoxious smoke and smell. strongly recommend no smoking in public areas

It is difficult to describe Tulia in words, but I will summarize saying that among many top hotels I have ever stayed around the world, Tulia was overall the best. Service makes a huge difference, and at Tulia, you are truly treated like a majesty. The staff is so nice, they will make anything to surprise and please you. The Beach Front Villa is incredible: a spacious, comfortable and cozy room with your private garden/ sand strip overlooking the ocean. The beach is amazing, colored in different tones of light blue and the beach sand is almost white. The hotel facilities include a superb pool, an amazing restaurant with the possibility of dining in front of the blue sea, and countless delicious options for every meal (you have at least 6 different choices/ meal/ day) and a top spa, with one of the best massages I have ever had. We were in our heneymoon and had a great time at Tulia! We were even surprised with an amazing private romantic outdoor dinner offered to us! Many thanks to all the staff for this wonderful experience!

Going back home, but we will definitely visit Tulia again someday!!!!

Nothing we did not like.

The food was excellent with healthy food choices. The was staff great. Truly all-inclusive. Lots of different wines to chose from. Fantastic location.

Only Prosecco og Frexinet (cava) if you fancied a sparkling wine.

everything was perfect! this place is a dream….sweet and polite staff, excellent chef, beautiful villa and don’t forget the free pick up from the airport and complimentary massage. And amazing beach view, clear water…again A DREAM!

i wish I stayed longer….

What can I say about this place. Firstly, the pictures don't do it justice, the views are literally breathtaking. We had the beach villa and waking up in the morning felt like we'd died and gone to heaven. The food was superb, and the drinks!!! fresh coconut water, passion fruit juice every day plus the fruits and veggies were so fresh and delicious. The farm is such an amazing and sustainable venture which makes this place all the more special. Lastly but more importantly, the staff. Kirui was so sweet and we loved our chats every evening. Elias (the cheek), Gaston, Abdullah, Gideon, Petra and all of the wonderful lads and girls who took such good care of us. This place is worth every penny.

could have had some more things to do, such as Padel or Boule. Good food and wine, but the all inclusive option is a bit pricy.

i don’t usually review the resort or hotels, but this resort is outstanding! and i don’t usually repeat the experience if i travel in the same place, but if we ever go Zanzibar again (3rd time) we’ll definitely stay at Tulia again!! i travelled a lot, saw many 5* resorts but this is the best, in my oppinion. exacly what we are looking for: quiet, exotic bungalows, luxury experience.

i prefer buffet, but their a la carte menu was very good! if i wanted something else they did it for me.

really nice little resort, with a convincing strategy on sustainability. the staff was nice and accommodating. the beach is amazing, depending on tides of course. food was good and I particularly appreciated the gluten free bread baked specifically for me. a massage and pick up/drop to the airport are included, which we appreciated.

we found the price too high for the quality of the resort (and the room, which was a partial sea view one) this is more the price that you pay for a resort in the Maldives, which are more exclusive. price would be acceptable if full board was included but this is not the case. also, yoga was not available during our short stay.

We came on our honeymoon and had many special extras, all of the staff were excellent and paid attention to every detail. They grow as much of their own fruit and vegetables, have a small chicken and duck farm for eggs and poultry, and have fresh caught seafood daily. We really appreciated that there was no buffet and instead a well thought out, fresh menu daily, all of our food was always very well cooked and presented. We loved the well groomed gardens, how intimate the hotel is with very few rooms and extremely personalized service from all of the staff. Having our bungalow terrace, hammock, poolside, beach front and restaurant facilities gave us many options. The spa treatments were very high quality. They truly offer a tailored luxury experience at Tulia which is not the case at other big resorts on the island. Highly recommend and would love to return soon!

Travelers should note that this side of the island has tides that change every six hours - there is no snorkeling just in front of the hotel. This didn’t bother us at all - we took a trip to Nmenba to snorkel.

million thanks to Petra, the most dedicated and helpful I’ve ever met ! Tulia is a perfect place to stay in their, I loved their pool and the water slides is brilliant! my kids was suggesting to stay in the hotel for good and was always asking to leave it !

A piece of heaven on earth. The resort is amazing, so relaxing. Staff are friendly, food is great and the weather is unreal. great for family and couples to enjoy nature at its finest.

We absolutely enjoyed our vacation at Tulia, the food was amazing, our kids loved the slides, one place where all including means it, even the prívate yoga lessons in your terrace.

Only the wifi connection was not good…
