Close to the warehouse district in Bergen. Also near the Unicorn Restaurant on the second floor of one of the warehouses (sort of a gold/dark yellow with a leaping unicorn). Food and decor are excellent.

The location was perfect for Bergen, in the historic centre with everything in walking distance. Lots of restaurants and bars to choose from within 150m. The hotel bar was pleasant and the outside area popular in the sun. The hotel was clean and quiet. Breakfast was good with a few hot food options and good continental selection.

Room was RIDICULOUSLY small. Not enough space to even put your suitcase. Windows didn’t open. The property had an elevator that was poorly maintained and not level with every floor it stopped at, creating a tripping/accessibility challenge. The breakfast was not included and was poor quality (grainy eggs) not enough variety of proteins.

I highly recommend staying at this hotel. The facilities are very nice, the room clean and spacious (to European standards). The location is excellent, 10 min walk to the train, ferry and funicular. Also it’s right in the water, in one of the most iconic sightseeing spots in Bergen. There are many restaurants, bars and cafes around. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel (besides the non-stop rain!).

The location was excellent, we could walk to many fun venues. The hotel was lovely very Scandinavian decor. Breakfast was wonderful. I'd stay again and recommend it to my friends.

Excellent hotel, conveniently located on the waterfront. Restaurant and staff were excellent. Room was small but comfortable and quiet. Onsite parking was convenient. I would highly recommend.

Location is excellent and rooms are nice. Lobby is small so when a number of people are waiting to check in, seating is not adequate. Restaurant was OK, but service was very slow.

Perfect location in Bergen

The rooms were nice but my only complaint is that the master light switch turned off too many lights and electrical outlets and it didn't allow for more granular electrical and lighting control. This made it really hard to charge my family's USB devices while i am asleep or out for the day. Otherwise the stay and rooms were very nice and clean. Breakfast was nice but i wish they had different stuff everyday and offer more non-diary options in the hot food portion of the buffet.

Would have given 5 stars, but Checkin was very slow. Also they inadvertently gave someone else our room key. Fortunately we were in the room when this happened.

For the most part it was ok. I was told by a young woman that I could catch an early taxi to the airport, came down the next morning and was told by another young woman with a bad attitude that this wasn’t possible. She then said take the bus. Grateful I had a little leeway with my flight but the poor young gal that was also told they would get her a cab was not so lucky. The bad attitudes by these two were really unfortunate. The hair dryer didn’t work and the mattress kept sliding off the bed. All in all I’ll pass on this hotel in the future.

No guest services at 85 I was the bellman for our luggage!!! Directed to luggage cart & told to take it up to room & load it & bring to curb side No restaurant reservations made by front desk very sparse general info everything was self service .. Housekeeping mediocre at best the only staff that was cordial was at breakfast !! Front desk always mobbed with scores of cruise tourists checking in & out… this Hotel was a shade above staying at a HOSTEL!!!!

Great place to stay if your looking for a location in the heart of the city center. You walk out the door and everything is right there! Great beds and clean rooms. Great experience staying here. Highly recommend.

The hotels and staff can learn a few things about hospitality from dubai. We paid a a crassly amount for two nights and service was that of a 3.5 star hotel. Was Disappointing to see the service and option available. The restaurant menu was a joke to be honest.

The hotel is very nice, although slightly expensive. Our room ("business class" supposedly) was nothing fancy and had no view, but the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom fine. Staff at the front desk were courteous and helpful. Our cruise ship had arrived early in the morning; we were at least able to store our luggage for a few hours and then they were able to give us a room a couple hours before official check-in time. Also, I'd forgotten to pack an electrical adapter for the outlets and though they couldn't provide one, they directed me to a store nearby where I could buy one (Chillout, at the Exposition, if you need one). The hotel is in a great location, right on the waterfront in the Bryggen area, with all the shops and restaurants and fish market within easy walking distance, and there's a small convenience store next door. It's also close to many tourist attractions, such as the fortress, museum, St. Mary's church, and the Mt. Floyen funicular. The best thing was the breakfast buffet; although it gets quite crowded at times, the selection and the food was awesome, and the room is spacious, nicely decorated, and bright with a glass ceiling providing lots of natural light. That was a highlight for us.
