Cleanliness not great. Makeup marks on supposedly ‘clean’ glasses and mugs. Bathroom toilet roll holder broken. Shower went hot and cold while using. Beds uncomfortable. Have stayed here before but won’t be again as it seems to have gone down hill.

Really good for a stop over. Suite was amazing value and very roomy.

Have stayed at this hotel several times previously. Only complaint this time is that there is currently construction work which means that most of the car park is inaccessible.

The staff were very friendly and helpful! I also appreciated the environmentally conscious steps the hotel takes. Facilities are in good condition and the rooms are great!

Toilets and room were not very clean. We had 2 twin rooms and one rooms carpet was ripped due to age and looked very unpleasant and dated. No hotel slippers in room had to ask. No green teabags again had to ask. Room walls are so thin first night was disturbed due to noisy people having a party with music next door. Despite letting reception know 3 times nothing was done. Should have been compensated for this disturbance especially with young children. Would not use again.

Unfortunately developed works in the car park restricted the amount of guest parking, otherwise we had a great stay. Fantastic breakfast’s 👍

Lovely welcome with friendly staff, welcome gift and a good hotel in general with a nice gym. The only negative is the beds are a little uncomfortable.

The hotel car park and surrounding area is having a lot of building works. The road signage is very poor and is difficult to find a decent parking spot. I was unaware of a £3 per night parking fee which is disappointing. Breakfast is ok but both my wife and myself food the so called hot food ‘somewhat cold’

Very attentive, competent and polite staff. Lobby is comfortable, room was clean (the way I like). I had a delightful seabass fillet but the sweet potato fries were tasting old oil.

A tidy and clean room, comfortable bed and pretty good food. The bar was very good and the little extras provided for our child were very welcome. Housekeeping and waiting staff were excellent, but the front desk staff a little unfriendly. I was surprised to have to pay for parking and breakfast was expensive. The kitchen extractor fans weren't working well so cooking smoke got on our clothes at dinner and breakfast, coffee machines produced undrinkable coffee and the air-conditioning in our room was struggling to get the room to a comfortable temperature.

There was a leak from the A/C unit so we could not have air con. No coffee pods available at all, it seemed the hotel is cutting costs. Breakfast was very good.

It’s a little dated but that was ok. The mattress was the worst I have ever slept on. Felt like all springs. Food was just ok. Bar area was great. The air conditioner would not get cool enough. They looked at it and the service man said it was old and had to rest at night to catch up. We had to add an extra night and were charged $75 more but never told about the charge. Great for no other place to go but would not choose to go back

Hotel was average, building works in car park so not a pleasant entry, hair in the bath and only one bottle of water. Check in staff weren’t very communicative

You have to pay for parking in a hotel that is near a roundabout which makes no sense. It should be included for all guests. Otherwise room was great.

Lovely hotel clean and very nice rooms. Bed was very hard and noisy. It was like sleeping in the floor.

One night stay, but everything was great. Easy check in, spacious room, great toiletries. It was handy to have a fridge for my water and wine! I ate in the restaurant in the evening, and a buffet breakfast the next day. Thrre was a large group, I think an overseas coach party, that ate in the restaurant in the evening and it was very noisy, but that's not the hotels fault. All of the staff were really nice, friendly but professional. It’s just off the M4 with easy parking, so not in the centre of Swindon. There is a Londis supermarket just over the road, 2 mins away, so that was handy. Overall a great stay.

The hotel is ok, just off the highway with limited surrounding amenities. You need a car. The staff were bordering on rude. With the exception of Rita who was excellent to deal with. There is a lack of attention to detail. We were provided with dirty towels and no replacement coffee pods or water, unless requested. There is no phone number in the room for reception. The plus a fridge in the room and comfortable beds. There is a function centre in the hotel. The wedding guests were unruly and the hotel staff did not seem able to control the wedding guests. A physical fight occurred with the police called. I also had a payment issue which none of the staff could successful explain or resolve.

Good basic clean property. Good value for the price.

Room clean, bed and pillows some what on the hard side, but that’s just personal preference. Breakfast fantastic and very friendly staff.

I've stayed in Hilton's before and always have the same problem: the beds. Even just sitting on them, the bed squeaks and creaks and feels like it is about to fall apart. So it leads to a disturbed nights sleep when you turn over and it creaks. The beds need changing. Bedsides for toddlers would be great aswell, as the sofabeds are quite high off the floor, and toddlers roll straight over pillows (that are used to block them onto the bed). The bedrooms need to be more child/family-friendly. Otherwise, service, cleanliness and food were all excellent.

I checked in about 11pm , was very tired & mentioned that to front desk (reception) about that ; been working non stop for about 24hrs, was starving & knackered When I called the room service & placed an order at approx 12, after 30 mins they call me up & mentions that there is no food available & order food via Uber eats. I order food via Uber eats and when they arrive with my food, the front desk did not inform me about their arrival & my food was lying there for a long time & got cold. The bed was not proper very hard & making squeaking noises The TV was not function properly

Dining Room service was not good. Initially it was fine but towards end of meal no service at all.....

Awful nights sleep due to old uncomfortable matresses, worn springs just made an awful grinding noise when you moved and just not comfortable at all. Standards in the rooms have dropped compared to other years, rest of hotel was okay, service and staff of a high level.

I was a bit hesitant having read mixed reviews on line. The lobby, bar and restaurant was clean, modern and the evening and breakfast meals were fantastic. Great food and great service. We stayed in room 422 a large suite as there was 2 adults and 2 kids. Great size and at first glance I was very impressed until it came to bed time. The bed creaked everytime you moved on it. Worse bed I've ever slept in, bathroom could do with modernising. The rooms clearly need some TLC as I read a review from 2 years ago where someone stayed in the same room as us and they made similar comments. Let down by a crappy bed, poor mattress and not the usual standard id expect from Hilton. I woudnt expect a bed like this in a hostel let alone a Hilton.

My first time staying at a Doubltree by Hilton hotel and my first time booking through Hotels.com Both experiences were great. No issues.

Do yourself a favour and stay at the premier inn across the road! This hotel is outside the town and they still charge you to park at the hotel. The bed was creeky and uncomfortable. The breakfast was poor and no proper coffee.

Denied breakfast even thought it was pre paid Shower gel dispenser was empty Car park mostly closed no attempt was made to remedy or compensate for poor service

Sofa bed was a bit uncomfortable, bed was fine. Room was very clean and welcoming. Will stay here again for sure.

We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience - the hotel was clean, the staff helpful & friendly, and there was a nice ambience about the place too. Our dog was very chilled throughout the two nights and we weren’t made to feel guilty by anyone for having him with us.
