This was not a good experience. It started with check in. They gave my room to someone else. Luckily, that someone else had the same type of room (2 queens).
Get upstairs to the room and everything seemed fine, left for a while and got back to find the room keys no longer worked. The staff said their whole key system was down and none of the keys in the hotel worked. So either someone had to stay in the room to let others in or the staff had to come up with you to let you in your room.
So we go back to our room to watch the SEC championship game only to find out our TV does not work at all. Staff does not try to fix the TV instead offers us to switch rooms. So I asked that since I have to switch rooms, could I get an upgrade. The front desk responds "Are you a club member?" What club? the pissed off customer club? At this point I'm a card carrying member!
So no upgrade and we have to drag all our stuff across the hall to another room while the game is going on. No form of compensation offered or given.
Doubt I will ever be using this hotel again.

My kids loved the complimentary hot chocolate bar and the indoor pool. We all enjoyed the breakfast included with our stay, there were lots of options. The woman who checked us in was very friendly and accommodating.

Clicking noises throughout the night. Window unit very noisy, smoke detector missing with raw wires sticking out where the detector was supposed to be. Breakfast, watery eggs and steamed bacon. One apple on the fruit tray. No one at the checkout counter when we got ready to leave.

First of all the staff was wonderful and the room was very clean. We had a few small issues but they were resolved quickly. Considering it is an older hotel, good deal.

The hotel was clean and well kept. The staff was friendly and professional. The only downfall was our room was next to the elevator and it was super loud. That really couldn't be helped but it was tough getting to sleep.

Our room was average, but noisy on the floor above, drain in tub broken and the pool was broken which was not listed on the website before I booked 2 rooms.

Great stay. Worked well for us but the outside doors won't unlock with a key card so front entry is the main way inside and then you have to prop the door open to bring stuff inside, the elevator was broken the 1st day, the pool was closed (but we did have access to a sister property pool), and ice maker broke too during our stay. Breakfast was normal continental style. Parking was good and the room was large for the price. The area is also good. We felt safe there and there were many restaurants close too. Good freeway access as well. Front desk staff were great and so was the maintenance man for a toilet issue. Thanks for a good stay.

This property was very dark and run down— stained carpet, peeling floors and wallpaper, etc. The pool was closed, and the only ice maker was broken. The staff was indifferent and provided no apologies or reason. The free breakfast was not good either. Canned fruit. No eggs, yogurt, or individual serving milks. I don’t usually walk away from free food, but I took the coffee and left. There was a rainstorm during our stay, and I heard another guest say she had a horrible leak in her room. Fortunately we were on the second floor of three, but our room smelled strongly of mold/mildew even before the storm. I was really disappointed in this hotel and expect more from a Marriott.

Pros: Staff was very friendly upon checking in/out and accommodated my room request. The room was clean and comfortable. While I heard talking from rooms in the hallway, I didn't hear anything once inside the room.
Cons: The pool was out of order. I didn't need it but you may want to call to make sure its up and running again if that's important to you. The TV didn't work great. It took forever to switch between channels and wouldn't pull up channels if you used the number. I gave up and went to stream but you have to pay $5 to use internet capable of streaming.

Many small issues with our stay. The hotel itself is a little run down. Old, musty carpet in our room. Bathroom fan was incredibly loud and bathroom door didn’t fully close. Only two sets of towels in a two queen bed room. Loudly squeaking floors. Decent breakfast. Wifi didn’t work in the morning. Pool closed for maintenance.
Neighbors were some sort of sports team and were loud. No thanks, we’ll stay somewhere else next trip to Norman.

This was the most rundown Fairfield I’ve stayed in. Rooms were beat up and dirty. The ac was temperamental. The breakfast was low quality and kept running out of basics. Definitely not worth the high price!

We encountered very friendly front-desk personnel and staff. Rooms were clean and we had everything we needed. Could use some updates, but worth the price and great location. Near OU campus and near plenty of food and shopping options.
