Room and hotel are fine. Location works well, room is clean and comfortable and the staff are friendly. Biggest issue is the bathroom had a different 3 inch cockroach for 3 straight days. I am not looking to shower with a bug.

Mostly clean and very worn. It wasn’t pretty and pristine… but the pillows were soft and comfy and there weren’t any bugs.

I was apprehensive of the hotel based on recent reviews. Room was clean, smelled great! A/C was not cold, it was 99 degrees and the lowest it would go was 66. I woke up in the middle of the night sweating. I asked if it could be looked at and they sent maintenance to my room the day I checked out. Shower water was hot day 1 and not on day 2. Outdoor pool is small looks nothing like the pictures. It was also filthy, both days I went down. It clearly hasn’t been cleaned. I love having the shampoo/conditioner in the shower, however this is the 2nd Hilton in the past 2 months where the conditioner was empty. That should be checked when the room is cleaned. Restaurant on site was good! If I came back to the area, I’d probably look for another place to stay.

What exlecting alot better looking hotel for it being a hilton. The hotel was really outdated for a hilton. It kinda reminded me of more like a days inn or comfort inn not a hilton.

The room had ancient dirty carpet. Paint was peeling from the ceiling. There was no hot water. When I called the desk, there was no answer. I walked down to explain the issue. The staff told me I had to run the sink and shower at the same time. It took over 15 minutes to get Luke-warm water. The staff didn’t offer a new room. For this to be a Hilton property is a joke.

This is a long time favorite location and always a treat to stay here. Love the room layout, the window angles, the contemporary feel of the rooms (still true after 30+ years, back before it was Double Tree). Some areas do need repairt and update - elevator floors, some hallway carpet. The pool is special and well kept even after all the years - just get the bugs out please! Maintainence during summer requires more attention. Staff is attentive and responds quickly. Good food, too

Checked in went to the pool, no pool towels in the holder. The hotel seems to be a little older and outdated. The outside is a site for sore eyes as far as molded furniture under a canopy just to the right of the front door. When checking out at 9:30 am, the coffee pot was empty in the lobby. Spoke with the front desk and she said ok, 30 minutes later still no coffee.

Run down, feels dirty. Smelly rooms.

Hotel is in a nice area and convenient for shopping and dining.

I’m from out of town and my mother was in the hospital in the ICU. I stayed here the previous weekend and everyone was so nice. This time was a bit different. The girl at the front desk was polite enough, but not very welcoming. I think she was upset she was going to miss the fireworks. Our room was clean, but smelled a little musty. The next morning we accidentally missed breakfast. I’m assuming the manager was walking out as we had tried to walk in the breakfast area. As I was explaining to my daughter that I messed up. The reason we missed breakfast was that I and her dad were there on a weekend and it stayed open later. The manager must of only heard part of the conversation and thought I was complaining. He proceeded to mansplain it to us across the lobby and kept on talking over me even after I explained that I already knew and was just telling that to my daughter. From both stays here are Pros and Cons. PRO- 1) Nice, clean small hotel. 2) Mostly friendly staff. 3) Good location with restaurants nearby. Cons- 1) Room has musty water smell. 2) My duvet didn’t have a cover on it. Unless they replace the duvet every checkout, it doesn’t seem very hygienic. 3) The cost vs. accommodation seems a little high. 4) Housekeeping starts knocking on the door two hours before checkout. You better answer quickly or they’re coming in.

Honestly, it wasn’t like any of the other Doubletree Hotels I’ve stayed at, but I liked it. Room was good and bedbug free. Wish they had a free breakfast, but McDonald’s was like 3 mins away. Staff was nice and sweet. Thank you all for your hospitality and hopefully we’ll see each other again

My biggest issue was my mattress and the toilet! Mattress was extremely hard which caused my back to hurt. I endured the uncomfortable bed as long as I could. I got up and continued on to my destination. The toilet… let’s just say, they need a new one. I had to hold the handle to flush and make sure it didn’t get stuck. Probably my last time.

Great location and nice staff but the rooms are old and in need of an update. The pool both indoor and outdoor was dirty. Lack of towels at the pool and in the room. Had to ask for additional towels/washcloths multiple times. There was no linen in the room for the pull out couch. Had to request. The welcoming cookies were not hot and fresh like other Doubletree hotels. They were hard as a rock. We stayed two nights and housekeeping only replaced towels. No cleaning or making up of beds. We were in town for a college tour and would not stay here again or recommend if we return to the area.

The double trees are always old looking and feeling. I wasn’t impressed with the state of my room and my bathroom smelled like urine and I could see deep yellow stains on the toilet lid like they hadn’t wiped it down. The smell really ruined it for me. The room is nice but again, everything feels old and outdated. They need to update the decor!

Hotel is old and needs renovating. Rooms smell musty and old school A/C unit not powerful enough to effectively cool the room.

Did not disclose that breakfast was not included, very deceitful. Very noisy a/c unit, seemed very worn out No manager available whatsoever on the weekend, and even the 800 number is useless

There wasnt enough towles to go around for 4 guest. We made it work.

Older property. Rooms were nice but some of the rooms had an old smell that was off putting.

On a 3-night stay, high winds prevented me from making the trip. DoubleTree refused to refund ANY of it. Perhaps the first night could be understandable. But to take $350 from me and then have the opportunity to book the rooms for the other two nights I didn't occupy is unethical. Knowing this is how DoubleTree does business, I won't book with DoubleTree again.

Only thing that would have been nice is if the pool was open.

I was told that breakfast would be complimentary, so I grabbed two slices of bacon and an orange juice, and then the waitress told me to pay her $15. It is absolutely unreasonable to make me pay that amount of money for two strips of bacon that I didn’t even finish as well as orange juice and water. Hospitality rating is a -5. I will never stay at one of these locations again and I plan on telling all my friends and family to never stay at one of these locations.

For the price of the room you would think the beds wouldn’t be rock hard. Other than that it was very clean.

Room was very clean and mattress was firm like I like it. Not saggy with big mattress topper.

Wonderful sheets and pillows. Very clean and comfy. LOVED the Crabtree and evelyn. Girl in office was amazing!!!

The hotel was very clean, front desk folks were friendly and helpful. Wood have been better if breakfast was included but we had a great stay.

The pool is absolutely gorgeous and unique with its inside/outside feature! We came in March and it was heated perfectly. The cookies are delicious and the service is great! I do not want to leave.

The service and room are great. The cookies exceptionally delicious. The only thing I would change is usb access added it to rooms.

I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. It is in serious need of remodel - had to move rooms because our room was so poorly maintained. Bucket in hallway to catch water from leak, wall socket repair left exposed wiring (forgot to do finish work). The only positive comment is desk personnel friendly and helpful. Do not stay here.

Nice place, comfortable and good for a business trip. It could use some maintenance here and there but did not detract from the stay.

The bathroom light was broken and flickered all night. I woke up to bit marks on my face that were not there before I went to sleep. There was a used condom underneath the night stand that didn't. Having to chose for myself I would NOT be staying there again. No USB chsrgers in the room. The only outlets that were somewhat usable were on the wall. The ones on the lamps the charging blocks just fall out so those couldn't be used.
