Characterful hotel in a great location. Slightly disappointed that the room was not cleaned at all during my 4 night stay (I could have requested it but did not remember at the right time).

We had a lovely stay at the Millenium! Although a bit outdated, and the wear and tear is present, it didn’t bother us. The location is perfect, breakfast was great and we had a good time! Would stay again.

I had high expectations from the pictures. I booked a room with balcony on the eight floor. Unfortunatly the room was not very clean, i told them and it was better after another cleaning.
The room it self was quite old and worndown. Probably 20 years since last renovation.
So my advise is, take the pictures with some caution.
The elevator quite some noise going up and down, and may disturbe the easy woken people.

Overall, our stay was very pleasant. The hotel is in a great location, close to shops, restaurants, transport options and the waterfront. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. They kindly let us check in early which was much appreciated. The breakfast is good. The low stars for the property condition are because we had some issues with the room locks. On one occasion we could not get out of the room which was quite disturbing.

Hotel is tired, in need of some TLC to fix some of the bumps, dents and chips in the paintwork and walls.
The bed was comfortable and having windows that open is always a bonus.
The carpets of the corridors and stairs were not clean and did not appear to have been vacuumed in the time we were there.
Breakfast served a good selection, but much of the food designated as hot was in fact tepid or cold.

Location is perfect. Very central. Dining area was fairly okay and the same with the breakfast buffet.
The big downside is the overall experience of the hotel. The surfaces are quite worn done and it would be a good idea to plan for a refurbishment of the rooms and public spaces. It dose not feel clean at all.

With our heavy luggage, the hotel was further away from the bus station than we thought. We were a bit disappointed considering the price we paid (160 eur for 2): carpets were not clean, our 'quiet' room was not quiet (zooming noise from ventilators all night), the water stayed in the sink after use, and the breakfast gave the impression of 'lot's but cheap'. I missed the more healthy options. They did have plant-based milk.

This hotel is badly in need of an update, especially in light of the price we paid as compared to other hotels we stayed in during our trip. Our room was clean but the hallway carpeting was gross, the elevated threshold to the bathroom was flat out dangerous and painful to trip over, the furniture was worn and stained, and advertised amenities (such as extra pillows and duvets and 24/7 bar food service) didn't exist. Even outside presentation was lacking as the signage lights were only partially lit. Security was also concerning as anyone could go directly to elevators without needing a key card as was the practice in other city hotels in Norway. The one impressive feature was the breakfast offering which was quite extensive.
