The overall facility is in need of updating doors, walls, paint not fixed after putting new beds in the rooms. Front desk charged me more for an additional night stay than we paid for first night online and claimed that was discounted price. A few people appear to be living there with pets. Mysterious uncovered container of gravy or oatmeal on buffet looked unsafe.

Here for only about 8 hours. Old flooring with holes. Thin towels. Somewhat comfortable bed. Decent breakfast options.

Where to start….hhmm. Stay away from this hotel. It started off bad with check in, and just got worse.
Check in the guy was rude and made rude snotty comments about my son and being disruptive and destructive. First off my son wasn’t going anything wrong..he’s a 6 year old boy that has ADHD and Autism. I had to tell him to use his indoor voice once. But when people don’t know disabilities they say ignorant things.
This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in ever!!!! From the BO smell to the dirty rooms, black mold all over the bathroom, bug traps hanging from the ceiling, burn holes in the king bed sheets, blood on the sheets of the pull out bed. Refused to get us extra blankets as needed. Had 4 people in room and 2 towels 2 wash clothes. Went to get more and would only give us 2 towels no extra wash clothes.
Because of the black mold that I realized the next morning it affected my asthma, and my son is now sick from it.
We checked out early and cut our trip short. Never again will I stay at this hotel when coming to Memphis

One evening, it was late, my wife and I were enquiring of the staff as to where to eat - in the surrounding area. One of the staff members offered us some surplus burgers and salad which had been prepared for construction workers staying at the hotel. We were ever so grateful for the offer and her enormous generosity.

The bed sunk in the middle. We found 2 baby roaches in the room. The washing machine close to the room was overloaded and making tons of noise.
We asked for a late check out when we checked in because i work late nights. We were woken up 2 times before our 12pm check out.

Decent area and close to many places to eat. Right next to Shelby farms. If you are a trail runner the wolf river trail system is in walking distance

I left the Oyo hotel and got a room here instead. It was a lot better than the Oyo hotel that i made reservations for at first. Im asking for a refund ftom the Oyo hotel because i refused to stay there

Musky smell. Another motel run by indians who have not maintained but because of location attracts the customers. The carpet is filthy, the base of refrigerator is rusted. The sheets are not changed and the bathroom faucets don't work. I had an emergency and had to stay here and I thanked God I left without an incident. Door locks are jammed. This is a classic money laundering place for the owner.

We will never stay here again. We stayed on the 3rd floor and the floor is wavy and feels unsafe. The entire place was dirty. Like nasty dirty. Although we didn’t see bugs. It doesnt seem secure. Some people came from the parking lot to grab breakfast one morning and left. Random people were swimming with us and then just left out of the back door like they just live locally and use the pool as their personal pool. The pool room was never locked and doesn’t seem to have good ventilation. The bed sheets were stained. We had to change rooms because the shower in our first room would not drain and the floors were slippery and gross. The floor turned all of our socks Black. The front desk tried to make it right and gave us another room that was better but also not great. Overall great location but needs renovations!

Main concern was their rooms were very dirty. Bathroom had some kind of mold on the ceiling; stains on the floor, hair on the toilet that wasn’t ours. Sheets had stains on them, pillows had stains on them; curtain was torn; splatter stain on the lamp shade. Floors had a film on them and we were greeted with a strong stench of cleaner, as if they just cleaned it and we checked in at 12:00 am. You get what you pay for.

Room was disgusting, mold, floors sticky, our whole room was sinking in the middle the dresser was even leaning forward. Smelled awful, shower doesn’t drain. Worst place I have ever booked. Had to leave the conditions were so nasty.

Pool needs attention. Floor in our room was sticky and the bathroom door scrapes on the floor. Hallway carpet needs to be cleaned and maintenance is needed everywhere. Choice hotels seem to lacking badly compared to what they used to be. Shame

Room 224 should be condemned. The floor is not even, slopes to the middle, door to the hallway has a two inch gap at the bottom. We were told when we checked out that there are two rooms like that. They should not be renting them. The whole place needs a remodel.

My first night, there was a live roach in my bed. The guy did allow me to see a second room in which was still not the best. Stayed on the 3rd floor until the next morning so that i could leave and return back to Texas. The front desk did not have any compassion next day about the situation so got my refund and would not ever tell anyone to stay there. I didn’t even try the free breakfast

Lobby, hallway, and especially the room were in bad state of repair. Actually someone had attempted a refurbishing of the room and failed miserably. Bathroom door frame falling off, new flooring cut in badly with large gaps all around, window curtains falling off and couldn’t be closed, loose wires where the smoke detector was supped to be (yes it was missing), vanity mirror was hung so high my wife had to stand on tiptoes just to see her face. I could go on and on. We were booked for 2 nights but left after the first night and they still billed me for 2 nights, still working on that one.

We are normally RVers and don’t stay in a lot of hotels. Currently on a road trip and staying in hotels. This was the worst. Sticky floors, smelly hallways, dirty bathroom, not enough luggage carts (only one I ever saw), ice machine not working, indoor pool closed and looking awful. Very nice young lady checked us in. Nice young man serving in the breakfast area next AM. Nice help in a truly sorry and poorly run facility.

My initial room was atrocious. The floor was uneven, it smelled of smoke, the bathroom was disgusting. Oddly enough….The picture in the room was hung upside down.I went back to the front desk to ask for a refund, but was unable to receive one because I booked the room through the Hotels.com site. The woman at the front desk was very nice and apologetic. She showed me to a different room that was only slightly better. I will never use this site again because there is no recourse if there are issues with the room.

Front desk receptionist asked for an additional $150 cash (no card) upon arrival. This is not in the policy and was not mentioned when I called prior to coming to ask the same receptionist about the room. I’m not sure if they are discriminating or asking certain people but this was told to us and a couple of people that were checking in ahead of us.

The hotel was clean, older property needs renovated. Not soundproof could hear construction taking place outside. Fair price for what is offered. Nice demographic area.
