The hotel is very close to the centre and all the amenities. The staff were very helpful and polite. The breakfast was excellent and the best surprise of the stay with all the options such as gluten free, lactose free, vegan and vegetarian options. 10/10

The restaurant at this hotel serve the best breakfast we had throughout our entire tour of both Norway and the UK! The room was nice and we loved the lounge as well. A very nice day. The only thing I could say that I wish was different, was that you had parking.

Hotel has very helpful staff, cozy but very comfortable rooms, and an outstanding breakfast buffet. Good value for the money. Only negative was a bit of nickel-and-diming (i.e. had to pay NK30 to use an umbrella, NK100 to use wireless device charger).

The staff were amazing helpful and friendly, they provide a great information about the city.

We stayed 3 nights and the hotel is very central. There is a large hospitality suite on the top floor with an ice machine, nesspresso coffee machine and both flat and sparkling water taps. Our room was quite quiet except for the tram line. Friends stayed in a room in the front of the hotel which was quite noisy The included breakfast was very impressive with lots of hot and cold choices Definitely recommend this hotel. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. A special mention to Victoria at the front desk who went out of the way to give us directions and recommendations for sights and meals.

Hotel situated right next to several bars open until 3.30am so noisy on a Monday night I resorted to sleeping in my tiny bathroom. My 4.50am alarm is a blessed relief.

Hotel staff were lovely, breakfast was outstanding. We did not get directions for room heat and my husband was cold in the room. Location could not have been better - close to tram stop and easy to get anywhere.

This was a great place to have as our base for exploring Oslo. The staff was friendly and offered great suggestions. The 'breakfast to go' was tasty and ready for our early check out. A great spot!

We enjoyed our stay at Thon hotel. It was a beautifully, well situated hotel near all public transportation. The best thing was the fantastic, free hot breakfast like none we’ve ever experienced. You must see it and taste it to believe it! We will definitely stay in Thon hotel’s again.

Hotel is in a very central location so very close to transport, shops and restaurants. Breakfast is excellent with lots of choice and the staff are very attentive and friendly. We found that our matress had a dip in it on the side closest to the window so it wasn't flat. The staff tried to make it better but it didn't work. Unfortunately, they were full so couldn't move us. On top of that a bar directly opposite us had music and karaoke blaring out right up to 4am on the Friday and Saturday night of our stay. While I managed to sleep on the first night, I was woken up by the beat of the music and by people singing and shouting as they left the bar on the Friday and Saturday in the early hours which left me feeling exhausted.There's not much the hotel can do about it but I would recommend asking for a very quiet room as they do get busy and may be unable to move you.

AMAZING hotel! Breakfast is literally voted, “the best in Oslo” and if is included. So clean, staff is incredible, the details of the hotel are perfect. Worth every penny, will absolutely stay at Thon Hotels in Scandinavia again.

We had an issue with a loud room as it was on the second floor over looking some bars open till 3-4am. We asked about switching rooms and they moved us with no problem. The staff were wonderful. The included breakfast was delicious each morning, the best we had in Norway. The beds were also very comfortable.

Honestly impressed! Now I see why they have such great reviews. First of all, the staff were the friendliest, most helpful group of people I’ve encountered at any hotel during my travels. Also, the breakfast buffet is remarkable. An amazing selection. Fresh, beautifully laid out. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Oslo if I’m able to come back. The only recommendation is to fix the amount of time it takes for the room door to lock when you shut it. It takes about a minute of you standing outside the door to hear it lock. If you walk away before it does, there’s a risk someone can open it. But it’s still a 10 out of 10 in my book. Thank you everyone from the staff for treating your customers the way you do.

The hotel was retro cool and the staff was very helpful. The upstairs lounge was lovely.

I stayed for two nights. I like to walk and most places, including the waterfront were 25 minutes or less.

Clean and comfortable room, excellent facilities, and one of the best hotel breakfasts I have come across. The hotel's central location made it easy for us to get everywhere we wanted to go on foot, or to get to public transport with ease.

Nice hotel in a great location, with an excellent buffet breakfast. They gave us a quieter room (it was very quiet!) because we were there over a weekend - we hadn't asked for it, but maybe you should, just in case. We'd stay there again, without hesitation.

Everything was great except room service who kissed checking everything like no shampoo in the shower area or missing hand towels, but other than those item, everything especially breakfast were excellent

Front desk personnel did not very knowledgeable about the general area especially concerning restaurants. Rooms were hot with no thermostat to regulate temperature.
