The checking in was great had a great person to do all the arrangements. The room on the other hand still had old food in the fridge and the hotel floor looked like it needed much updated walls due to the damage on the walls and floors all of the staff from cleaning was ok not goin to say nice but they was there.. over all the money we spent on the hotel we will find something else next time.

Perfect location in Helen. We didn’t have to worry about paying for parking downtown as it was a quick 3-5 min walk. Staff was 10/10 and continental breakfast was some of the best I’ve had at a hotel! Clean rooms! Will stay here again when visiting Helen.

Have stayed here several times. They have rooms with fireplaces and also suites, which I opted for this time, with 2 TVs and a sofa. There was even a nice view toward town. The pool is heated and there’s a small gym with a couple machines. Easy walk down to Main Street, although there a couple small restaurants nearby. The Hooch is just across the street. Staff here are very friendly and breakfast is adequate. Only 3 floors but there is an elevator. Comfy, but no frills.

Disgusting hotel. Bugs everywhere in the room and when brought to the attention of the staff they responded, “well those are our pets” or “those bring good luck.”
The carpet was dirty and looked like it needed replaced 5-10 years ago. The vents looked like they’ve never been clean and has mold. Without question the worst hotel we’ve ever stayed at.

Our stay was great. The only thing that can be complained about is you can hear your neighbors. Other than that it was great. I was with my 8 year old grandchild and not one time did I feel concerned for our safety at the hotel or around town.

The staff was excellent. The hotel condition is poor. There were numerous deferred maintenance needs. These drove problems opening the room door, the need to change rooms at check-in, and the inability to use the exercise room

Great location. The check-in staff was great. Just do not accidentally leave something in the room. I returned to the hotel and inquired about it. She told me that the room had already been cleaned. It took her twenty minutes to make contact with the housekeeper, and they denied finding the item. The desk clerk said, "You probably left it in your vehicle."

This is one of the cleaner, better properties that I’ve stayed in Helen. The only issues I had, were they decided to paint downstairs. So the whole downstairs had a strong smell of paint. And an hour and a half before checkout, the water was turned off in our room. Also, one of my key cards didn’t work and had to get it fixed twice before they gave me a new one. The lady kept telling me not to put the keycard near my phone, which I hadn’t, I insisted that the card was defective and someone else finally gave me a new one.

The room was decent. Good size. We got the one with the jetted tub, but ended up not using it because we left a day early. We went for a 25th wedding anniversary trip. The bed was hard as a rock and we tossed and turned all night long. 3 am my husband was woken up by people being very loud in the halls but by the time he got to the door, they were on the elevator. I could not have handled another night of tossing and turning, so we left. Also the walls were filthy and you could see dirt on the bathroom floor as well. Room was in decent condition other than that.

First time visiting Helen, Georgia. The hotel was equivalent to most of the other hotels in terms of outdoor appearance. The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating. The only negative things are: the hotel is not pet friendly, the hallways and stairwells carpeting are definitely dirty and outdated, and the complimentary breakfast was par. The sausage was extremely salty, the country gravy was watery and unflavorful, and the breakfast lady was rather annoying because she would loudly yell out every 2 minutes "everyone doing okay?" And when no one would answer she would go let out a loud yoo hoo. It was way to much fake energy first thing in the morning when you were trying to relax and have a quiet conversation.

Overall very good ratings. Very clean, nice sheets and towels and the room was spacious. I will say that the breakfast ran from 7:30 to 10 am, which was wonderful, but if you didn’t get your breakfast early they either ran out or you were eating the dregs of food items that had been sitting there for 2 hours. Also the plastic silverware was so cheap and flimsy couldn’t even use it. We went out and bought plastic silverware to take to breakfast with us.

When I first arrived, I was assigned room 110. The room had an extreme musty smell. I put the air conditioner on thinking maybe that would go away, but it only seem to get worse. We were lucky to have our room changed to room to 214 where it did not smell. I did notice in the bathroom faucets were not cleaned and there was also food left over in the refrigerator.

Blue Nissan Maxima stayed parked in the drive thru/drop off area all day, assuming an employee used it for parking. When she left the next person parked in the same spot. This happened multiple days.
Breakfast was not restocked throughout breakfast hours on Friday morning
Came in to clean the room and pulled the covers on the bed up but didn’t make the bed at all.
