Great breakfast until 10:30 am. With in walking distance to army museum (in Copacabana), Arpoardor and Ipanema beach. Friendly staff. Clean rooms and commom areas.

Apart from the location next to the beach there's nothing positiv to report. Nothing has been renewed there for years, it's not maintained, it's dirty, there's mold everywhere in the bathroom, the wallpaper is coming off. The dishes at breakfast are dirty. never again!

Nice location, and it looks good with the terrace, but it seems worn down. Needs renovation to be a 4 star hotel in my opinion.

The hotel was very clean and well-maintained. The staff were super friendly and accommodating and speak very good English and Spanish. Great location right across the street from Copacabana Beach and very short walk also to Ipanema Beach. There is a Bike Itaú dock right next to the hotel, easy access for those who want to rent bikes that way. Good continental breakfast. Pool area is small but why would you really use it when the beach is right there anyway.

Excellent hotel. Right in front of the beach so you can just walk in and out of the water. Perfect location as it is right in the center of Ipanema and Copacabana so you can go to either beach. Tons of restaurants/grocery stores/bakeries around so no shortage of food and Uber was always available. The hotel offers a breakfast to die for. So yummy and so much variety. The room was also large and spacious. All in all, wonderful hotel and I hope I can stay there again!

From the warm welcome by Fabrizio Reis to the complimentary late departure, the staff couldnt have been nicer. The breakfast was super, the lounge area with its view and beach towels to use, we certainly got our monies worth. We were surprised the rooms were very small, but we were comfortable. If we get back to Rio, we will stay there again.

Staff was excellent. Great breakfast. Traveler’s shower allowed us to spend the day biking before heading to the airport.

Location is the best, between Ipanema and Copacabana beaches. The facility is a bit tired though in terms of wear and tear (faucets, beds, shower, interior, etc.) but didn't pose a problem. Hot water worked every time. Pool was a nice touch on the roof and we spent many hours up there hanging out

Had to take my own luggage to the front desk as no one was available to assist, had to wait for a bit as only one person at the front desk, was not offered a welcome drink and was told I would get a ticket later and never did, no offer to upgrade, pool very small, pool bar closes at 7 pm which is very early, beach across the hotel was dirty despite it being Copacabana. Would prefer to stay somewhere else in Rio next time.

Amazing hotel with a beautiful view of Copacabana. Staff extremely helpful and nice! Would definitely stay here again!

The reception staff, housekeeper, and servers at breakfast were very customer focused, friendly, and welcoming. For an older building it is well maintained and has all amenities necessary to be comfortable. The location essentially at the juncture of two famous beaches is excellent.

Wonderful property with panoramic rooftop pool and sunbathing area. Nice breakfast is available for fee each morning. Very helpful staff. Walk across the street to the beach and also near restaurants and shopping. Great value.

This is my second time at this hotel. Marcela from the reception desk, Rogerio, the messenger were outstanding. The cherry of the cake was the caipirinha prepare by Rafael, the barman. The best I’ve ever had!

Love the hotel. Loved the service. Staff was amazing and sooo helpful. Only thing is very small in space which was something that we are not used to. But they made efficient use of the space so beautifully. Plus just across from the beach is always a win in my book. Loved it. Thank you so much for taking good care of us.

The staff hotel was friendly and always available for help, very clean and a very good breakfast buffet

Hotel is in a fantastic location. Service is friendly and efficient. I think rooms booked through a third party are at a slightly more downgraded standard. They prefer a direct booking. Breakfast was a highlight. Air con in room 808 is very noisy and room is above the kitchens. No access to food in the hotel after breakfast.

I loved all the staff. The breakfast waiters were phenomenal, as well as the door men.

Rooms a bit small but in front of beach

Orla and its staff are simply amazing. Our international flight landed in Rio early in the morning, so stopping at the hotel we figured we would have to wait until 3pm to check in. The staff found an empty room for us to temporarily stay in until our room was ready. I know that this probably was a unique situation but it shows how eager they are to serve you. Joseph the lobby bartender was very friendly and informative. He was able to give us suggestions and advice on destinations. Breakfast was a buffet of fruits, cheese, meat slices, eggs, bacon and multiple fresh squeezed juices. It is located sandwiched between two great neighborhoods making exploring easy. The room was cleaned daily, and the AC was able to get cooooold. Our favorite part of the room was the amazing shower head and water pressure, it was like being in a waterfall.
