Chris at the front was very nice and helpful. I did let him know that my room was not very clean. The tables, floors and surfaces had fingerprints and spills. I don't think I'd stay There again. Breakfast was nice but not super healthy.

The room was very nice and clean. I could tell it had been recently updated. Housekeeping did not come in every other day like stated. We had to go to the front desk for clean towels. The front desk person was outside with a group of people after checking in and I could smell weed. Don’t know if he was partaking but as we walked by the group I could smell it. No directions were given at check in on where to park or how to access the room other than going through the lobby.

Our room had grout all over the bathroom floor, and the hallways were filthy and needed repairs.

It’s under construction however not affecting my sleep at all and I sleep during the day because I work at night. I’ve had multiple stays since May 2024 and each time my room was clean and ready. Staff is accommodating especially when I ask for early check in or even late check out. It’s typically sold out but I somehow find my way in! Directly next door to Walmart super convenient for shopping and Somerset Mall is like down the street very close. Tons! of restaurants to chose from and close to downtown Birmingham as well which have Emagine movie theater, more restaurants, etc. I would recommend for overall cleanliness, helpful management staff and location convenience!

When extended stay they did not ck on my gsrbsge for 5 days, nor offer towels i took care of it

This was our first time getting a room on the 1st floor. My daughter is on the spectrum and she loved it. Easy access to the pool. You all have the Boomerang channel and she loves that. We always stay at a homewood suite for our staycations. Thank you

Terrible quality control. My room didn't have either a clock or a telephone.

Our room was outdated, but the hotel was doing some renovations, so im sure it was on the list to get completed. However, furniture in the room was broken (missing pieces on drawers, doors crooked in kitchen, etc) the couch was very uncomfortable, and small tv. In the evening after finishing our dinner all of the sudden a gush of water came pouring out of the light in our kitchen. And then it was a steady stream after that. We put buckets and towels under it, and tried calling the front desk for 15 minutes with no response. We ended up packing up our things and going down to the front desk and asking for another room. The front desk staff was apologetic and gave us a new room but no offer of a reduced rate or anything for the inconvenience. The whole stay was just less than relaxing and pretty disappointing.

Room was pretty clean. Dishwasher didn't work very well. Couch pillows were really dusty. Garbage disposer was slow to drain water from sink. Towels were rough.

Everything was perfect. We loved our room and will be back next year!!

This property is undergoing a renovation. It was fine for our girls weekend. But it was soooooo dated. The kitchen was unusable. But it’s under construction so hopefully they’ll make it more modern

They are starting renovations. Lobby has been done. Rooms have not. Some struggle with cleanliness but when mentioned to front desk they corrected issue. Nice location.

I have stayed at this hotel many times. Every other time I would give it a five-star review. I normally have a second floor room and I usually enjoy my stay. This time I brought my dog because it is a dog friendly hotel. Since I had my dog I was put in a first floor room. When we entered the room for the first time we noticed it had a moldy smell. I always look around my hotel room when I check in and the first thing that I noticed was there was a lot of spider webs and spiders in multiple areas of the room. We always check underneath the bed sheets to make sure there are no bugs and when we did we found an extreme amount of blood on our mattress. We decided we were going to flip the mattress over only to find the opposite side of the mattress was also saturated in blood. I had to go to Walmart and buy my own sheet set in order to feel comfortable sleeping in this bed. The bedroom TV did not work. I had to go to the lobby and ask for somebody to fix the TV. The only way he was able to fix the TV was by taking the SIM card from the living room TV and putting it into the bedroom TV so the entire stay we only had one TV working. After our first sleep we woke up the next morning and found a ton of ants crawling around in our kitchen sink. We cleaned the sink and around the sink but realized nothing we could do would prevent the ants from coming up the drain in the kitchen they were all over the place and this continued the entire trip. More issues but max characters used.

The only issue was that in order to get to the bathroom you have to close the bedroom door in order to open the bathroom that was annoying as it made you feel disconnected from people in bedroom

Front desk was great, but when using the restroom, one employee, after using the toilet walked out without washing her hands. Walking through the property there was trash on the floor and in the elevator. The carpets are worn and filthy. The room appeared clean. The bed had the most uncomfortable mattress ever. Some of the electrical outlets didn’t work and the microwave was sticky.

I have stayed at this hotel four times. The other three times I would give all five stars. This time I give two stars. The staff was very friendly and they were excellent. The room that I stayed in was disgusting. There were spider webs in every inch of the bedroom where the ceiling meets the wall. There were ants coming out of the kitchen sink. There was a chicken bone sitting on the floor that I had to clean up from the previous person who stayed. When I get to my hotels I always check the beds to make sure there are no bed bugs. There were no bed bugs but what I found was the mattress was soiled with somebody's blood on both sides of the mattress it looked like somebody had been murdered. I ended up going to Walmart and buying an entire comforter set just to cover everything that they provided for me and then I left it all there because it was way too disgusting to bring home. It certainly seems that the hotel is starting to go downhill from my previous visits and I may never stay here again.

I enjoyed my stay. It was very clean. I loved the makeup remover packs in the bathroom. that was a nice touch.

We were in a handicapped room which was the farthest room from the elevator. My husband was worn out going back and forth from elevator. Really bad positioning for a handicapped room. The wallpaper was falling down and the vinyl floor was peeling up in front of bathoom door. The towel bar fell off the wall in the bathroom. There were no cups in the bathroom. I could not find any silverware until the last morning. But the room was clean but the bedding smelled musty.

Children were playing in the hallway until 10:30 pm and it was very noisy and there is no sound proofing at all. I can't take a rest during stayed here 2 nights.
