Great place to stay

Doesn't look like much on the outside but the room is very nice and the owner (I assume that's who checked me in?) is so nice. Really made us feel welcome, which is awesome at a hotel.

It was a cute place. Room was clean but the patio was dirty and there were spider webs on the chairs out there the screen had a rip in it. Part of the shutters didnt want to stay closed but i just used a chair to hold them in place. It did have a small fridge, microwave, and a table with two chairs. The towels suck very very thin and small. Other than that it was good.

The Property is clean inside but outside we saw two mice And it’s in a very sketchy area won’t be back for a female travler

There were some issues with cleanliness of the rooms.

Comfortable stay. Nice staff. If you like it dark when you sleep, this is not the place for you. Shutters on windows are very cute but does not keep the light out and the outside lights are on all night long.

We love staying at this lodge. Very clean and spotless. It felt like home.

They were big nice updated rooms! Unfortunately we had either luke warm or cold showers for every shower. The AC was sooooooo loud and clanky that they had to be turned off so it was stuffy in the room. The air freshener they use to clean the rooms or just spray in the rooms were so strong they gave us a head ache and we had to open all the windows to get the smell out. The spa was out of service indefinitely and the ice maker didn’t work.

I have been staying at the Lone Oak for many years. In recent years there have been some very nice upgrades to all of the rooms. They are clean for the most part. The neighborhood where the property is located isn’t the best but I still feel fairly safe staying there. In the past the rooms were always a good value and that is what attracted me. No so much any more. The new ownership thinks very highly of their property and they think the room rates should be as high as some of the much nicer properties in the Monterey area. Plus they are charging a daily “resort” type fee which is totally inappropriate for this property. They closed the hot tub and exercise room during the pandemic and will probably never reopen it again. They no longer provide daily housekeeping services, which began during the pandemic. They simply are no longer the value proposition they once were.

Very clean rooms, firm bed. My only complaint is the air-conditioner was very loud, rattled. I enjoyed my stay very much.

It was very good. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Stayed 2 nights. Room was large, had vinyl floors, was bright and clean. Bathroom was modern, nice shower. Large parking lot, I was able to park my motorcycle right in front of our room window. Neighborhood seemed safe. Management was nice and let us check in early.

Very nice motel and very well kept. Super nice staff and would recommend this place. Also great location!

Comfortable bed.

I liked the ease of access and parking. I did not like it that I could not reach anyone to obtain more coffee in the morning.

AC unit way to load, needs bed side Lamps & Bigger TV. Everything else was great 👍

Lots of rooms, lots of parking, everything was updated and clean. The only complaint I had was the a/c was a bit noisy so we didn’t turn it on for sleeping. The bed was a firm memory foam which my husband really enjoyed but I like my beds a little softer. All in all, I would recommend this place.

We enjoyed our stay here - the rooms were spacious and the beds were big and comfortable. It would have been nice if there was more storage for clothes etc. The AC was strong was strong but very noisy. The toilet was leaking and we were not able to reach management to tell them. But overall it was a good stay and a convenient location.

Super clean hotel! Housekeeping is doing an exceptional job. I liked the stay overall. The only con is that it’s close to airport and you can hear airplanes flying even at night and early morning - but this cannot be fixed by hotel management. It is what it is.

Great dive hotel, rinse bins for gear and hooks for wet suits.

Nice and clean motel. The screen on the door to balcony was ripped. The air conditioner/heater unit was very loud and we couldn't use at night. The faucet in the bathroom was loose and the shower needs a stool. However, the room was clean and the bed comfortable. The rates were good and we'd stay there again.

The family room we got was absolutely amazing. Super spacious and clean. The beds are very comfortable i would stay here again forsure.

One of the best hotels we have stayed in super clean and pet friendly we had our puppy stayed 2 nights and everything was just excellent will definitely book here again

Great little place. We had a separate unit apart from the hotel and a suite. Very quiet and clean. Close to everything you'd want to see. Would highly recommend and stay again. The spa and pool is closed- it says permanently. Don't know anything more. I have service as a 3 neutral as there was no to lean up service during our stay.
