Everything is very relaxing and the staff very friendly and helpful to us every time we stay there

The hotel is amazing. Very friendly and welcome staff. Overall a great stay. Breakfast was a nice added bonus. Chili's and in n out are very close walk. Beach is about 10ish minutes walk or 2 to 3 minute drive same street at the hotel if dead ends at the beach.

Showers take too long to get hot. Good breakfast & happy hour

We enjoyed our stay in the hotel. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was especially good. The staff was friendly.

Good location and breakfast buffet was very good. Our roomm #809 was noisy overnught. Lots of traffic noise.

Worst Embassy Suites I have ever stayed at. The ocean view which was an upgrade was over the highway, Shell Station, etc. Very noisy! Windows would not close. Bathroom vent filled with dust, bathtub/grout not cleaned well, carpet dirty, spotted and definitely did not want to walk barefoot. Not in the heart of Monterey, need to drive to everything, nothing in walking distance. Many buildings around under construction, multiple trucks back and forth around their outside ground level parking which they charged $20/day for which left my car filthy from the surrounding construction. They offered a $15 in hotel credit but hen when I asked if I could put it toward the parking I was told NO! Never again!

Excellent stay, the rooms actually feel like you’re in a small apartment. Breakfast was good, managers reception really good. Close to a lot of eateries.

This was a nice hotel very close to Cannery Row. The breakfast was outstanding! Our room on the 12th floor had a lovely view of the ocean which was unexpected. Unfortunately the water pressure was ridiculously low and needs to be improved. There was also way too much fluctuation with the temporature of the water during a shower. The staff were wonderful and accommodating. Overall we had a nice stay.

Not so good. Traffic noise outside was very loud. Also not happy to have to pay to park in the parking lot out front.

We stayed 3 nights and on the second day our room was not cleaned. We had to ask for clean towels and coffee and tea refills and for the room to be cleaned. The hotel charges $15 destination fee (resort fee)/ day and told the other couple we traveled with that if they spent $15/day in the gift shop the $15 would be credited to the room. Unfortunately we were not told that information upon checkin so lost out on this benefit. Hilton needs to train their employees to inform their customers on all the benefits.

The breakfast options was amazing! The room was so clean and the hotel is quiet! Plenty of parking onsite. Highly recommend!

We will never stay at this Embassy Suites again. For the price paid, you would expect that the rooms and public areas would be clean, the elevators would work, the stairwells would be clean, and the appliances in the room would work. When we checked in, we walked into our room and found Cheetoh crumbs all over the sofa and mold growing in the shower. The room also had an iron that was broken and could not stand up. Definitely a fire hazard. My daughter and her family were in a separate room. Their refrigerator was leaking water all over the floor (my granddaughter slipped and fell) and their iron didn't work at all. The public seating area for breakfast was filthy. There was apparently no one to clean up any tables. And there were multiple chairs with large stains, many of the stains appeared to be rather new. Only two of the three elevators in the building worked. And these had large temporary signs indicating that there should be no more than six people per elevator. There are twelve floors in the building, with at least twenty rooms per floor. As we were on a lower floor, almost every time we wanted to go down the elevator, by the time it got to our floor, it was full. Instead of waiting ten minutes or more, we chose to take the stairs, which were also dirty, needed paint, and appeared to be neglected. I wish someone had written this review before we went, as I could have saved our time and money and found a much better place to stay.

Really enjoyed our stay, the staff was very accommodating and nice. The gym was well equipped and pool area was enjoyable. Would definitely stay there again.

Lots of families since the hotel is convenient to the Monterey Aquarium. Good free breakfast. The biggest problem we had was that our room was not ready at check in.

The property is nice and the rooms look very nice. The beds are extremely comfortable. For what you pay for overall it is not worth it. Our rooms air conditioning worked very well. However the heater did not work at all. At night the room would get really cold. Before entering the room all the power cords to the televisions were unplugged. Not that this is a big problem I just believe before leaving the rooms after prepping for the next guest everything should be tested really quickly maybe create a checklist for employees before exiting the room to ensure everything is not only exceptionally clean but is fully operational. Again not a big deal to me. Buffets typically get a bad rep as far as quality goes and here was another perfect opportunity for Hilton to prove everyone wrong but that wasn’t the case. Food quality was poor and prepared poorly. I have been a chef for over 15 years and I usually don’t complain about the food but for how much you pay to stay here the food and the staff preparing the food need to step it up.
