Would be great if they had coffee in the room or in the lobby, instead at the buffet. Sometime all you want is a cup 1st thing in the morning. May be just a European thing.

Located in the heart of the city, a nice place with access to about everything you need. Pretty noisy in the surrounding areas but sort of to be expected given location. The A/C did not work well so room was pretty stuffy but you could open the window...but then pretty loud.

Loved the location, grocery across the street and shower! Rooms could use comfortable chairs. Staff was efficient at check-in/out.

My second time staying at 7Islas -
Pros - great location - convenient for shops and metro. Lots of dining options nearby. Onsite bar and room service are well priced. New gym is a bonus. Lobby is very stylish with changing art work.
Rooms are good sizes - again stylish. Dressing gowns are a nice touch.
Front desk staff friendly and happy to store luggage.
Cons - no coffee in the room. Kettle and teabags but no coffee. I enquired at the front desk and was told coffee was an extra. I'd expect even basic hotels to have coffee in the room and for what this room rate was, I'd expect more.
Guy in charge of room service was rude -rude when I called up to place my order (my colleagues were actually downstairs and overheard the conversation and commented on it too) and rude when he brought the food to my room. Hopefully a one-off as the other staff were more than pleasant.
Overall, would stay again based on location.

Clean and well-managed hotel in the center of Madrid. Hotel staff are very professional and helpful. Hotel is located at a quiet street just off Gran Via. Metro Station Gran Via is about 3-4 minute walk and Metro Station Sol where El Corte Ingles and many other shops and restaurants are located is about 8-10 minute walk. Also, a small but well-stocked grocery store is located right across the hotel. Location of this hotel is top notch. It is centrally located and Metro Station Gran Via is a superb starting point to go to all the must-see spots in Madrid. Barajas Airport is about 20-25 minute taxi ride from the hotel. I would surely stay again at this hotel if I come back to Madrid !

Comfortable, clean, no frills. The hotel is quiet and in a very good location—a few minutes walk to Gran Via. The staff is professional and friendly.
There is small convenience store close by where one can get juices, fruits etc. The area is safe. We enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is so nice and comfortable. Can’t beat the location, but in a quiet setting. Friendly and efficient staff.
(Only suggestion, while the hooks in the room and bathroom are nice, they are not very practical for hanging stuff).

Hotel was clean, and its locations was great, is the second time that we stayed in this hotel. My only suggestion is rooms should have at least one compliment bottle of water.

Really clean property and room, friendly staff, and location was perfect - walking distance to everything and was in a safe location. It was also convenient there was a grocery store right across the street and lots of stores nearby.

Loved the property in the heart of Madrid. Just 2 mins to Gran Via street, also everything you need is just 2-5 mins of distance. Also, a lot more convenient for anyone looking for walking distance exploration of Madrid.

This is a quiet, modern gem of a hotel right in the heart of busy central Madrid. Lovely staff, clean, modern rooms. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Front desk staff rude. As we left for the airport early in the morning, he gruffly demanded to know where key cards were (in the room where I always leave them), then wanted immediate payment for a bag of chips from the minibar. Will not be back.

We spent 2 nights at this hotel and it was fantastic!! The room was massive which I was not expecting for a European room in a central location. Bed was large and comfortable. We did not have food at the hotel so I cannot speak to that but it’s because we were so eager to try as many restaurants as possible. The deign of the hotel was beautiful and the lobby is also an art gallery which was very cool. Location was great and very centrally located. Super easy to get to and from the airport. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone going to Madrid!

Good location and the lobby was nice. The bed was very firm yet somehow also a bit lumpy. The pillows seemed low quality as well. Did not lead to the best nights sleep.

The property is like a little oasis in the bustling city of Madrid. It is small and boutique. The staff is rather non-chalant, but met the basic needs. There is no outdoor space in which to relax, not much amenities, but the rooms are clean and had nice toiletries in the bathroom and shower. It could be perfect with a little better staff at desk and some sort of unique outdoor space or amenity for the guests.

Well located and stylish hotel steps away from Gran Via and a short walk to Sol. Rooms were comfortable and clean. The shower was the best I have had in Europe! Fun design elements including local art in the lobby. The staff was friendly and knowledgable and made great recommendations for local restaurants. Recommend.

This hotel is centrally located in Madrid. It is within walking distance to the Madrid subway system (with wGran Via) as the closest stop, Plaza del Sol and Plaza Mayor. El Prado is about 20 midway.
The breakfast included is very good!! This is a modern and clean hotel. It has a decent restaurant and bar.
The rooms are modern, well lit, have a safe … but I found the bed was too darn firm and my sleep was substandard. This is the reason for a lower rating.
