Really liked this hotel and all expectations exceeded.

So where to start . On opening the room door we were hit with the overwhelming smell of bleach in the room. We opened the windows got ready and left to enjoy our day in Perth .On return the hotel lobby was in complete darkness with no one around at reception , arriving back in our room we were hit with the overpowering smell of dampness coming from the bathroom. We had to leave windows open all night which done little to hide the smell also not ideal with the room looking onto a railway line. On checkout we informed the gentleman working on the reception where his response was the toilet was renovated 6 months ago .The overall feeling was I was being made out to be a liar . On our return home I contacted hotels.com who spoke to the hotel who refused to offer anything for the uncomfortable night stating that we only reported it at checkout. We only reported at checkout as stated earlier the reception was in darkness when we returned and didn’t feel it merited contacting the emergency line.

Very welcoming. Room and bed comfortable, eat in both nights and food was excellent with a good selection of wines and beers. Did not have breakfast as was away early both mornings. Central to all amenities

The most appalling customer service I’ve ever experienced in my life, my groups rooms were cancelled last minute but not mine. I had to pay for an additional hotel as couldn’t stay separate from my party. They openly confirmed they cancelled other rooms because they were not paid up front but because mine was they refused to cancel. The way I was laughed at and spoken to was unacceptable and the manager was extremely condescending. AVOID

All good, pleasant, clean etc. The staff were outstanding ; Kerry and Alana could not have done more for me, real above and beyond!

We had deluxe rooms and they were fantastic, roomy and very comfortable (and huge!) beds but one of the rooms had a bath and the other didn't - so please check if you want one! As some other reviews have said, having to pre-order breakfast the night before and booking a time is a bit annoying, especially as breakfast then came out 20mins after the time we requested it anyway. Not a huge issue, but would have been better without this system in my opinion. Sadly we didn't get to try the restaurant as it shut quite early.

Welcoming and comfortable. Feels like its still slightly.recovering post Covid, with request to pre-order breakfast the night before, early closure of the bar and no room cleaning unless requested. Not huge issues but not quite the 4 star experience. Beer garden is lovely.

Had a lovely stay and staff were very friendly. I don’t have a problem with ordering breakfast the night before but I would’ve liked a small buffet table to help myself to some yoghurt and fruit coffee etc Otherwise all good.

Absolutely loved our stay, room was extra extra large was like staying in an apartment rather than a hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel. Only 1 sour point would be either add more pillows to the beds or try thicker pillows other than that we had a wonderful stay.

Easy to find and suitable for visitor with poor mobility

Staff was so friendly! Was in a lovey area, could walk to restaurants and had easy parking right on site. Our room was very clean at check-in and breakfast was very good. We also enjoyed the bar which was well stocked with whiskies. Wonderful stay all around!

Lovely atmosphere and great location. Dont expect to get a drink after 10 but hotel was quiet so that could be reason.

Excellent hôtel, very friendly staff. Room beautifully decorated. Bathroom very modern, really nice. Great touches with iron, fan etc. Very nice coffee. Would have preferred semi skimmed milk and not full cream but that’s personal taste. Near to a beautiful park. All in all a very pleasant experience.

Hotel was clean and room was pleasant with large en suite walk in shower There was no hot water so had to make do with tepid shower and the room was too hot at night despite opening both windows, so could gave done with a fan/air con We had an evening meal whi h was extremely disappointing, given the rave reviews My husbabd ordered a beef burger,medium rare, but it came well cooked. Despite complaining there was no offer to exchange or compensate in any wY. Ee were told they werent alliwed to cook it med rare as afainst Scottish law!! But we werent advised if that on ordering!

Alex was welcoming and very hospitable! He assisted us with where to eat & what to see. They held our luggage the next day after we had checked out to go further exploring & picked up before we hopped on the train. Lovely property too! Great location to walk into town! Again lovely hospitality! Thank you! Slainte!

Lovely hotel, front of house manager was very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was fantastic. The grounds are beautiful!

its convenient . but the room was dark with only wall lights that had to be switched off at the door. I had to unplug a desk lamp and move it so i could read in bed.

Arrived home after hours and walking back to eoom was dark and had diffculty opening room due to darkness light switch not accessable

Easy to find the Hotel and the parking. Warm welcome. Only used the bar and room but all was perfect. Loved that the windows opened easily. Thank you.
