The lodge was nice , the staff was very helpful and friendly. My problem is mostly about the booking agent I did it on line and specifically explained that we needed a handicap room as we use a walker and need grab bars in the bathroom. The stool was very low so I had to help her to get up of the stool. The room they had us in at first was on the 2nd floor so the ladies had to shuffle the rooms around as the rooms were all booked so it took about 45 min. to get it done as they had to move 8 rooms

Staff was great, the amenities & grounds were nice, and the restaurant onsite was good. My only complaint was we had sketchy plumbing in our room. The toilet didn’t flush well (even after I let the front desk know), and the water pressure was low in the shower. That was unfortunate and uncomfortable . The lodge is in a convenient location for sure but they should get the plumbing situated.

We stayed within the main lodge, in a hot tub suite. All of the rooms have balconies toward the outdoor pool, which was noisy and offered no privacy. The suite had a nice kitchen area but, otherwise, the space was very outdated and well-used. The bed mattress needs replacing - we both rolled toward the middle all night. Our room had a coffee maker but no coffee. We were told that complementary coffee would be available at the main lodge but it was out of order. The restaurant was closed both nights of our stay. We chose Caribou due to its proximity to the Superior Hiking Trail, which was great! BTW, the "shuttle" mentioned as a service is only for winter shuttles to the adjacent ski hills and not to the hiking trails.

Carpets were filthy in the stair/halls. No elevator. Nice restaurant and sleeping areas. Spendy for what you get-our lodge was so small we couldn’t hardly fit our suitcases on the floor. Great location if skiing

We had a slight misunderstanding at the front desk upon check in. Once we got the issue figured out, rather than moving past it, the front desk employee began an unprofessional and incredibly rude rant at how it was my fault that it took so long. All the while she was trying to have two conversations on the phone with a customer and another person. I completely understand if someone is overwhelmed that it may get a little tense but it was completely uncalled for. The rest of the lodge staff were incredibly helpful and pleasant! A special thanks to our morning front desk employee. She was incredibly sweet. The rooms could’ve been cleaner however. There was hair and just general dust everywhere.

We enjoyed our room very much! The view was lovely and the bed was very comfy.
There was an intermittent issue with the hot water (there was none) and the explanation was that “it happens some time but should be okay later”

Internet was terrible. Complained to the staff but never got better and staff did not communicate afterward. AC unit was extremely loud in the room. Had to shout to each other. Will not return

The room was very nice, clean and helpful, friendly staff. The only things I would mark down is a really late check in time, very thin toilet paper and the water pressure was so low you had to stand near the shower wall for the water to trickle onto you.

The queen whirlpool suite was cozy. We didn't use the fireplace, but it was beautiful. Our biggest concern was the heat being too warm. We fanagled the A/C unit and used the patio door and window to cool it down. It was a cool day outside, but the temp was too warm.

Decent place but not for the price cabin was full
Of insects and worn carpet and pans and utensils were not very clean. There was a used dirty spatual just laying on the grill. For the price we paid did not meet expectations. We left a day early and paid for a unsed night we were just done. We went to the pool and there were no towels the coffee maker didnt work properly leaked and was a small five cup maker for a townhome for 6-8 people.

We were pleasantly surprised with our stay. Our meal of ribs and my wife's wrap were very good. They had live music and the singer was very good and fun. Our room had a smell when you first walked in. Hard to describe? Musty? It seemed to pass after about 10 minutes. I would recommend this hotel and restaurant. We will definitely return.

Water supply died while I was taking shower. It came back few minutes later only to die again. Front desk person was the most unwelcoming I have ever seen. Unfortunately I have another reservation which is too late to cancel but would try to avoid this place in the future.

*Kitchen would not allow me to take my Nach Plate to my room and instead gave me a cheap foam box that was too small for my food
