This hotel "the la Quinta" is a hidden gem in Stillwater Oklahoma! From the moment you arrive until you leave. I don't know what to boast about first. Upon arriving you walk into a very clean, updated, and just overall aesthetically eye appealing lobby that is stocked with fresh fruit, ( apples, bananas oranges, granola bars, freshwater, cucumber water, ice cold sweet tea, hot tea of all flavors, hot coffees with the option to add flavored cream. A yummy assortment of mints and a variety of suckers to choose from. The front desk staff is so friendly, no matter who you encounter. Then when you get to the room, the rooms are also so nice and clean and updated. Every person that I encountered always smiled, was engaging and never showed any signs of being annoyed or upset. Housekeeping was always around and never hesitated to help me when I needed anything. I've stayed at my share of hotels and I'll tell you one thing this place really exceeded my expectations. I wish I had wrote down everybody's name to give them a shout out personally, but just everybody stands out. Breakfast area was super clean, plenty of seating and was always ready and fully stocked (during breakfast hours) with a nice assortment to choose from, such as- little boxes of chocolate milk, Individual morning juices, so you could take them back to your room if you'd like or the 3 different muffins (individually wrapped Otis spunkmeyer) bagels, cream, cheese, toast, waffle maker, four different kinds of cereal,

Staff was courteous and helpful. Room was clean, very quiet except for a/c unit---it was loud. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast was good. Would be happy to stay again if a/c unit wasn't so noisy.

Just in town for one night. Room had one hard back chair and one desk chair. Very uncomfortable with nowhere but the bed to sit. Seemed like a cheap “motel 6” set up.

Outside need repainting, rooms good

The room was clean and adequate. Its pet friendly, which didnt matter to me, but the pet owner walking their dog out front with no poop bag irritated me. I was also bummed that the hot tub was getting maintenance during my stay as that was something I had looked forward to, but hey, its July. Breakfast was great and the Dove toiletries were a pleasant surprise.

Clean and safe

We had a great stay here. The woman at the front desk was friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is a bit dated but clean. Breakfast was fantastic. Great selection of items and well stocked. The coffee was great too with a nice selection of coffee creamer. Kids enjoyed the indoor pool.

The staff were very friendly, but the entire hotel needs a thorough cleaning. Everything felt dirty from the exterior to the interior walls and floors. Floors felt sticky. Bathroom door was loud and hard to close, and I HAD TO wash my feet before crawling into bed. Carpet needs to be replaced. On the flip side, the beds were very comfortable and the staff did all they could to make our stay as comfortable as possible, including giving us a great breakfast!

This property is run down. The only good part of the stay was the kind staff.

I loved the staff at the desk. They were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and fresh and they kept their fruit, water, and tea full and fresh in the loby. Rooms were clean with plenty of towels and the ac worked great. The pool was open even though the spa was down for maintenance. I didnt use the exercise room, but it looked nice and tidy and the equipment looked like it was in good condition. Like the childrens space that was available by the main desk i thought it was a sweet touch.

The pool and Hot tub were not in working order.

The TV never worked. Had a suite but the remote on one didn’t control anything. The staff was nice and the room was clean.

The staff were great, the breakfast had lots of delicious options, and the location was convenient. We really appreciate the pet friendliness atmosphere. This being said, we did have a few inconveniences: 1- The bathroom door didn't latch and therefore couldn't be locked. 2- We didn't get any sleep the first night of our stay due to a dog barking constantly throughout the night and until around 2:30am. 3- One of the reasons we chose this location was for the indoor pool/hot tub, but the hot tub was out of order.

Very, very clean and great staff. Loved the breakfast selections.

This was a good, solid hotel for our trip to Stillwater. No bells and whistles, but the beds were comfy and the free breakfast was perfect. My room had some water spots on the ceiling, but nothing that impacted my stay. Would definitely come back!

Nice hot shower and buffet style breakfast that runs until 10:00. & Hot coffee & tea! Nice beds too!
