This hotel is located close to the airport. Taxi to airport was 30 ringitts . Breakfast at the hotel I consider to be outstanding. Close to Queensbay Mail which is handy. Lovely swimming pool which catches the sun.

Very noisy from street noise. Sound proof very poor. Can't sleep due to the noise. Bathroom water can't away. Breakfast is poor and crowded.
Near airport and free minibar are great though.

We’ve stayed here a number of times. This is the first time we’ve had a couple of substantial disappointments. Check-in was time consuming & messy—not because of ghe nice lady who eventually checked us in, but because the other staffers allowed two parties who showed up after us to cut in line & get fully taken care of ahead of us. It was a clear case of improperly trained staff who—due to lack of attention—reward rude, pushy customers and penalize more polite customers. The managers could see this if review the CCTV. Thankfully, once the energetic lady receptionist got her line clear she checked us in smoothly.
Then, my wife was rather forcefully told to leave the breakfast area because the restaurant crew wanted to clean up early. It’s one thing to politely inform guests that food service is about to end (that’s fine & helpful), but to kick guests out who are merely sitting & conversing at a table—who does that? Apparently Easton now does. Service here has really gone down.

Room is clean and quiet, with sea facing. Everything is functional, hot water bath was great. Service from the hotel staffs were excellent. Many eateries nearby with Queensbay Mall around the corner. Will stay again.

When I checked in, two ladies to front desk were busy on helping other guests to check in. There was another gentleman standing at the front desk next to those two ladies, he didn’t proactively help me check in, until one of the ladies asked me to go to that gentleman counter.

Back to choose this hotel after 5 years back. Quite disappointed as seems the mattress quite hard and pillows too soft. The hotel condition seems like going downhills. They might consider doing some upgrading works.

This is our 3rd stay at the hotel. We like it due to the proximity to Queensbay and also the 24 hours coffeeshop near by.

Nice comfortable big bed. Friendly staff. Clean room with a lovely Seaview. Within walking distance from the local shopping mall. Easy to move around and to venture into the city. Regular buses by the mall to explore further afield. Easy to call for a grab car (local equivalent to Uber)

Very nice food here. All foods are very delicious I love it.
But, shower cream and shampoo kind of cheap. Can consider to have something more better with good smell or branded like L’Occitane / Tanamera / Crabtree Evelyn. Laundry bag also only normal plastic bag. Please upgrade to better one.

The Eastin looked brand new, it was clean, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was close to a mall and within walking distance to the ocean where there were plenty of great restaurants, and very close to the airport.

Overall alright since this is not my first time staying here for business. Something to feedback is about the hair dryer which I don’t recall it to be this way. The hair dryer sounded loud when it’s switched to the strongest. Sometimes I have to switch back to low immediately worrying it may over heat anytime. Don’t feel safe in using it though. Another is the shower water, which turns extremely hot every 30sec, this could pose safety concern too.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Room is a bit small but it’s clean and cozy. Everything in the fridge and minibar is complimentary. That’s very nice!

Its near to shopping mall. Near to dining restaurants. The hotel is well maintained. All staffs were pleasant to interact with.

The hotel location is very convenient, very easy access from and to the airport. The staff is very nice and helpful, hotel is very clean but you can see this hotel is not new so the condition of the facilities could get some refresh. The AC strength is not very strong so get ready to wait couple of hours before the room really cool down

Once you enter the property, you feel calm and relax. Starting from the front desk staff who are friendly when you checked in and explained clearly about the hotel and room. The room though small but nicely decor and with a great view.
Breakfast was awesome and it was one of the best I ever had throughout my travelling experience. I can even take away coffee for my travelling to my business meeting.
I will definitely come back to stay in this hotel for my next trip to Penang. Thank you

I was disappointed with the size of the room.
We had a king-size bed and the size of the room is comparable with the hotels in Hong Kong. Not much moving space when you had 2 suitcases and cabin bags.
