We were booked for a 1 night stay at Motel Montreal, and upon arrival we were met with a swift change in our itinerary (with no compensation or discussion of rates). The desk informed us that our room had a maintenance issue, and that we were being swapped to another motel. Once we arrived at the second motel, we were appalled at what our costly booking provided us with. Cobwebs and dead insects littered the windowsill, the toilet and shower looked unclean and virtually unusable, and the electricity was inoperable. Even a simple flick of the light switch did nothing. My partner and I were weary from travels and being so late in the evening, could not muster the effort to track down an employee or call in emergency maintenance. We begrudgingly elected to pack up our bags and drive all the way home in lieu of subjecting ourselves to the evening in this horrific room. I am personally disappointed for allowing myself to even be exposed to this type of experience, and will be making a deeply conscious effort to avoid this booking process in the future.

Only issue is that the WIFI didi not work in the room, they knew about it and will try to fix it.

The room i reserved wasnt the same, it says it has kitchen. But it only had a small fridge and microwave. The toilet has a crack. Bed bugs, watch for this one. They need to fix this. But the front staff was nice, thats about it.

stayed here for just one night. Property was outdated but priced accordingly… staff was very helpful with check in process. Room had everything that I needed including a small kitchenette to make breakfast in the morning. Bottom line is I would stay here again and would highly recommend.

Pool was hard to get into. Need something to hold to when going down the steps. The ladder that is on the deep end is not sturdy enough. Need shade area and umbrellas and lounge chairs.

3 star experience, room had issues in the bathroom, no hot water in the afternoon and broken fixtures. Pool was nice, AC worked good, but overall, not a great place for us.

The staff were really friendly. We had a kitchenette and it was stocked with everything you would need to make an easy meal. The only thing I would change would be more light in the room in the kitchenette area.

Expensive and outdated

We were looking for quiet and relaxing. We found that at Motel Montreal.

Booked here at the very last minute and was pleasantly surprised! The front desk staff was efficient and polite. This is a cute motel that appears to be very well taken care of. The room was basic and clean. The bathroom appears to have been recently remodeled, was very clean and the shower pressure was great! The pool area was very nice (and clean), there is plenty of seating, a nice pergola to relax under and there is a very nice fire pit for once it gets dark! There are even gas grills for the guests to use. Most motels of this caliber you only want to use for a place to sleep and shower, however this is a place you can actually stay at and enjoy the property! I would definitely stay here again!

It was a quaint little room , comfortable but had no coffee pot.

The hotel was way overpriced for the condition and amenities. I would never stay at this location nor would I recommend anyone stay there either. It was the most uncomfortable place I’ve ever stayed and it felt like camping minus the woods but in a parking lot.

Room was disgusting. Air condition didn’t work right. Toilet clogged. Employees were very unhelpful. Owner was communicating but blew us off and didn’t make it right. Stayed at this property before and room was renovated and worth it. Bait N switch property. Don’t stay here when better places all over lake George.

Some areas of the room seem like they get more attention than others. The room was clean, however the shower was leaky and took a while to warm up. The bathroom sink never warmed up and the hair dryer didn’t work. The Wi-Fi is shared between 3 properties as well as the staff.

What I liked about the property was that it was close to town. What I didn’t like was the rooms stunk and were dirty! Never stay there again!

The receptionist was nice, that’s the only positive comment I can make. Fir the money, it was disappointing. No coffee, water to drink. 2 pillows only. Very, very disruptive folks above us & no one in the office to help. Furniture was terrible. Lamp was broken. No vanity room in bathroom. Tiny, corner shower. When I needed a question answered, a lady answered phone & was to call me back. She never did.

The place is nice and clean. The parking us very diffi ult if you have a truck. Staff is friendly and helpful. Will definetly stay here again.
