The owners father insisted that I pay in full up front even though Expedia had my card details. Breakfast was meant to be included but the office remained locked up the following morning. The following day my credit card was processed for the nights stay along with bank fees. I have called Expedia twice and 2 weeks later no refund. I will NEVER use Expedia again.

The Room was Nice, but the fine dust outside got into Everything, breakfast was good tho.

Room was spacious. Mini-fridge was definitely MINI. Air conditioner in a strange location and VERY loud. Fortunately it kept the room cool. Parking directly in front of room was convenient. For the price would recommend.

Very Vintage. Owner and Family very nice and accommodating. Room was very clean and equipped with mini fridge, microwave, and coffee pot with glass diner coffee cups. Hair dryer and bath essentials provided. There is a sitting area under neat large shade trees to enjoy the wonderful weather and scenery. If you like staying in a home type atmosphere and non-chain hotels/motels I recommend the Prospector Motor Lodge. Oh if you are looking for a swimming pool you will not find one at this property. My rating is a 5.

Older property; large room with sofa & coffee table; only one bedside table-inconvenient; bathroom window in need of repair. Tolerable place for one night. Good cafe up the street for breakfast called Yak's.

We had not checked out of our room and had left some personal items with my purse and wallet in the room. My husband put a sign on the door saying service later. And when I came back to the room they were in the room cleaning it and handed me my purse and other items. I told them they weren't supposed to be in my room yet but they didn't seem to understand English. I went to complain at the front desk and she said someone had checked me out but both my husband and I still had our room keys and had not checked out. She didn't seem to really care about the problem but it made me feel very violated that they had my purse my wallet with all my credit cards and were in my room when we thought it was Secure.

I loved the room. It was wood panelled and had vintage furniture and fittings which I really loved. It was comfortable and quiet, and the staff were so lovely. We would definitely stay again

This is a retro style motor lodge with pine paneling and beams. I love it! It's very comfortable and the towels smell amazing. I would definitely stay here again.

This is an older property that is attentively maintained by the current owner on a tight budget. It is very affordable and was perfect for our quick overnight on the road. It is clean, quiet, safe and comfortable. We will be back!

When I went to find an electrical outlet I discovered dirty, stained, paper towels between the box springs and mattress. There was hair all over in the shower. The entire room was dusty. The mirrors were smeared. They didn't clean or service the room at all in the 3 nights we stayed. Once they gave us towels but didn't touch anything else. They are conveniently closed until 3 pm each day when the surrounding recreation area has little or no service to even be able to call and complain. Obviously, the high reviews of this motel are not accurate or even real. We only stayed since it seemed to hard to find another place and we didn't spend much time there.

The quiet hotel is reminiscent of a 1950s motor lodge. Big room with comfortable beds and extra blankets. A bit dated bathroom. Very clean and tidy with cute decorations that indicate attention to detail. Microwave, small fridge, and drip coffee pot were modern add ons. We spent a night there and were pleased with the experience. I would definitely stay there again.

Checked in and found there was a window with lock broken. Notified on site staff who came to look. No way to fix unless window replaced. Asked for another room. None available. Asked for reduced rate. Owner contacted and refused! On site staff finally brought a stick to put in place so it wouldn’t open from outside. Staff great. Owner not nice. Place run down. Would not have stayed here except only thing available to book. Will not be back.

NIce place to stay overnight.

The staff were welcoming and helped with information about the area. Although the property was older the room was clean and well maintained. Had everything we needed including real cups for our tea and coffee. Most importantly they were so accommodating when we realized a phone had been left behind. After touching base with them they put it in the mail to us the same day.

The property is very old, but it was fine. Although our car was parked right outside our room, and it was locked with the alarm set, someone siphoned 1/2 tank of gas out of our car. For that reason, we won’t stay at this motel again.

I generally stay here twice a year when traveling to Arizona. The man in the office is always super nice. Everything was good in the room for an older property. It could use a few little things like stoppers to fill the bathtub. The interesting thing about this trip was the very large black bug. I didn't want to bother the front desk since I had already arrived after hours, so I put and water cup over it and left it for them to handle in the morning.

Clean and quiet albeit a bit outdated appropriately priced

Was a bit worried as the office smelled terrible but the room was fine.

The air conditioner is at the back of the room, so it struggled to get air to the front. It wasn't extremely hot outside, but still took most of the night to get the sleeping area cooled down. The toilet was low and small, and the shower head is very low also. Tall people will have a struggle washing their hair. Most everything else was good!

Our stay was great! It was quite unexpected from the outward appearance, but the rooms were perfectly clean and actually pretty large for a motel room. The price was perfect and location was very close to the main road of town so you could just walk to all of the little shops they had on Main Street. I would definitely recommend this place and would gladly stay again!

Would have been nice to have Continental breakfast available it makes a big difference.

I loved the customer service. Place is clean , nice, big rooms nice beds, cant actually have complaints.
