I had a reservation for months prior to my stay, only a few days before arrival I was relocated to another hotel, and was told all reservations were moved that had the same dates as me, however I had other traveling partners keep their reservation. I appear to be picked because I booked through hotels.com and not directly with the hotel. Although the new hotel was not of the same quality, no refund/adjustment was offered, only a free meal. This was for a ~$4k, 5 day booking. They kept saying everyone was moved, but it is not the case!

My wife and I had an exceptional stay. Greeted by name upon arrival (still have not quite worked out how they knew it was us) and were shown the upmost kindness, generosity as well as hospitality during our stay.
I only have positive things to say about every member of staff we interacted with. I would like to pay particular attention to:

We really enjoyed our stay here, we had two gorgeous rooms for us and our two children.
We also had a butler which thrilled the kids, and we’re totally spoilt with treats, and every day the house keeping made all sorts of characters with towels.
We also had a brief history and complimentary champagne which was opened with a saber.

Cannot recommend this hotel enough! From its location, staff, food, amenities, everything was just exceptional.
I must make a special mention to the staff who could not do enough for you. Kind, polite, attentive and could not do enough for you and always with a smile on their face.
If you are considering this hotel, trust me it’s a gem!

Some of the staff were amazing! The check in lady was so helpful and kind. As was the lady at the main entrance who always helped us super fast. The gentleman that dealt with taxis and cars outside - the main entrance manager was really rude and did not help at all.
The concierge also never got back to us on the questions and help we needed. The room was very clean and service was great. We could not use the ocean for an unknown reason, no comp for that inconvenience. The outdoor pool was not clean, seemed like the filtering system was not working properly. The water was murky and felt untreated. The staff at the pool were exceptional and super helpful. The hotel itself is a little dated, but very clean and organised. For the price it was not worth it, I would recommend hotels in Al Maryah more.

Butler service was a life saver if working to get a decent coffee, hospitality was next to nothing. Rooms are okay, some wear and tear to carpets and marks to furniture so some tlc is needed, but otherwise it was comfortable. Breakfast and dinner was fantastic with a lot of variety - only issue is if your on your own they seem to sit you where all the foot traffic is and you get a little forgotten about (aside paying a lot to stay here, don’t forget solo travellers are also important!). Beach and pool is great, spa is small and limited but clean. Great location.

A lovely week spent at tue St Regis. The teams at the hotel, terrace restaurant and the beach club were fantastic throughout our stay. Really welcoming and helpful throughout.
We stayed half board and my only comment would be to extend this to the italian restaurant which is also in the hotel. This being restricted to the terrace restaurant only is a bit restrictive and despite having dinner included we had dinner one night in the Italian restaurant to break up the monotony.
That being said the food in the terrace restaurant was really good and there we an abundance of options.
The breakfast was fantastic and the section just for pastries is more than tempting and certain tastes as good as they look.
A lovely week, with great food and fantastic service.

A really excellent hotel with "our" own butler who took care of all your questions and a beautiful beach with lots of space for ourselfes. The invitation to the “Evening Ritual of Champagne Sabering”, where a champagne bottle was decapitated with a sword, was brilliant.
The stay there was simply relaxing and wonderful.

Very poor checkin and checkout process. 20m on each side. Even a budget hotel has better systems to simplify the process. After a long journey the last thing you want to do is wait so long to get to your room.
Hotel is nice, albeit a bit dated. Beach club is great but takes 15m walk from room. Catch and service there was 5star. Best part of trip.

Exceptional stay at the St Regis. From the moment we arrived, we were taken care of so well. Every single member of staff was so lovely and caring. They made our stay that little bit extra special. The restaurants in the hotel were brilliant too. A family member of ours had specific dietary requirements (no dairy or gluten) and all of the restaurants catered for his. Rooms were great, hotel was just wow. If you’re visiting Abu Dhabi, you just stay here!

Never has there been such dedicated staff as at this hotel!! From the doormen to the butlers (they come with even the base rooms!) there will never be such devoted staff.
Namely Mahoni, Aman, Yyah, Abishek, Nokwazi, but the list is endless!!
The food on offer (we stayed half board) is of a superb quality and with so many choices, it would be hard not to be impressed!!
The pools are glorious and well staffed for towels, water & to serve your every need.
I really could not have asked for more.

Beautiful rooms and the beach club was very nice. Service could be improved, at times the staff were unhelpful - e.g. asked about an atm and they said there was no atm in the hotel but did not mention that there were multiple atms about 100 meters away in the adjoining mall.

Just … amazing👌🔝 everything: fantastic breakfast, fantastic dinner/Catch restaurant/, underground connection to the beach, very nice beach and service, connection with the lifts to the Marina Mall /supermarket/, you can use your personally butler. We were 6 couples. 5 of us booked through other apps and cheaper rate. We paid much more and we got the smallest room while all of them got much bigger room. Room wasnt comfortable at all.

We have just returned from a wonderful stay here for 11 nights. Our rooms were amazing, so comfortable and clean with the most luxurious bathroom. Every staff member was so very friendly. We were so looked after by the wonderful Vincent and Ankush at the beach. Santosh at the main restaurant who was so very attentive and always made sure we had everything we needed. The ladies that welcomed us every morning at breakfast with such lovely smiles. We really could not fault anything at this wonderful hotel. Very relaxing time was had by all thank you all so very much.
