It was raining and around 930pm when we arrived to the hotel. The awning was blocked off due to construction. We didn't see the signs when we got there due to the wind knocking them down but there are signs pointing you to use the side entrance doors. It would've been nice to have seen the signs before we got wet walking to the front doors. Once we made it inside, we waited 5-10 minutes for an employee to come to the front desk to check us in. She was on a smoke break. Upon our initial inspection, the room seemed to be clean but the bathroom still had hair in it in several places from the previous guests and there was soap or cleaner left on the bathroom sink area. There was also urine under the toilet seat. I spoke with the cleaning staff the next morning and it was taken care of. The sheets were clean but the room could use some extra dusting. We only took advantage of the breakfast one morning and it was subpar. We were downstairs at 7:15 am and most of the food was gone with no employee in sight to refresh the food. By 7:45 the food hadn't been replenished (luckily there were pancakes). The area around the hotel is nice and luckily there are a lot of dining options.

Beautiful rooms. We were disappointed at breakfast to find only coffee to drink (which we don't). Juice was not working, so no cold option offered, not even water. Very low toilet in rooms, if hip or knee issues. We would stay again.

Even though there was a bit of construction (updating) going on, the place was still very pleasant. We actually ended up extending our stay since it was so nice.

This hotel was under construction and we were not warned. It would’ve been helpful to proceed had we known it was under construction. They placed a crib in our room, as requested, but with no mattress. When I asked the front desk for a mattress, the lady said she didn’t have a key and “what is in the room is what you get”. When we arrived to our room, the door was cracked open and it seemed the room hadn’t been finished being prepared. The coffee maker was out on the coffee table instead of on the counter. The ice bucket bag was missing. And the floor hadn’t been vacuumed. We did get decent sleep as the beds were comfortable. We would not recommend staying here, at least under the current management.

They were remolding the hotel. So it was cluttered with building materials. I am sure it will be gorgeous when it is finished. Just wished I knew this before booking

This property is under renovation, which was not disclosed when we booked on our family vacation. The tvs were not working in any room. The pool was closed. There were employees standing at the very front entrance smoking. The front desk employee was drinking out of a cup that had a sticker on it that said, “what the F*ck?”. We called the desk twice to get sheets and pillows for the pull out couch that we needed to use and when they finally arrived they were delivered by 3 young children(??). The room itself was clean, big, and comfortable, but as we walked off the elevator toward the lobby we spotted a huge cockroach crawling across the floor. The experience wasn’t the worst we’ve ever had…but definitely not what we expect at a Holiday Inn Express and Suites.

When we walked in the foyer is totally gutted for renovation which was fine but, the elevator was broken so the stairs were the only option. We got to our room which had definitely been remodeled but, not cleaned thoroughly. Bathroom was dirty, half drank drinks in the fridge, kids fingerprints and mouth prints all over the mirrors. They could not compensate any of our bill because we had booked through an online provider. Which did not make us happy at all! The only plus size to this stay was the location. It’s right off the highway.
