Everything I expected from this hotel, having stayed in other ones in various parts of the world. Great staff and facilities.

It’s my first time staying at a Mandarin Oriental property, and it definitely live up to the 5 stars reputation.
We got a deal to the club room and splurge on the upgrade. The clubroom included breakfast, after tea, happy hour with hors d’oeuvres, and two pieces of laundry daily.
We took full advantage of the club lounge, and especially impressed with The personal services of the lounge staff. Stevie at the lounge was extremely attentive, even Remembering the drink of choice of one of our group member!
The buffet breakfast at Zest is impressive, Full of both western and eastern options. The staff was diligent, making sure all dirty plates are cleared off the tabled And drinks refilled despite busy breakfast service.
The room is immaculate, spacious, Modern, with beautiful Chinese accents.
The Bell staff are helpful, thank you Allen for Helping with my heavy suitcases, and calling for an extra van to take us to the subway. Thank you to the concierge staff to make sure all the packages arrived safely and delivered to the room.
The only downside is the Hotel it’s a little far from the nearby subway station(17 minutes walk), But there is a free hotel shuttle available on first serve basis that can take you within 2 km radius.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Shanghai Pudong Mandarin Oriental. The hotel is located by the Huang Pu River, next to the Shanghai financial district. My room has fantastic river view. Night walks along the river with city views are remarkable and unique experiences.
The service at the Shanghai Pudong Mandarin Oriental was exceptional. Breakfast at Zest was truly outstanding. The restaurant manager, Alan's warm and welcoming demeanor added a personal touch to the dining experience.
The combination of luxurious accommodations, impeccable service, and the culinary delights at Zest made it an unforgettable experience. Whether you're visiting Shanghai for business or leisure, I highly recommend the Shanghai Pudong Mandarin Oriental.

Great hotel! They go the extra mile, not stingy on extras. We where offered (a free) breakfast upon arrival and an early check-in. Very smooth on all areas. Large pool, good for kids. Perhaps not the best location, but it is so easy to get around that it does not really matter too much. Really no reason to leave the hotel at all...

Not in a good location for tourism. Staying on the bund side of the river would be much better. A bell boy named Tim was excellent, friendly and so helpful. His English was excellent and he would make a great addition to the executive lounge. Lynn in the lounge is also extremely pleasant and friendly. Overall though the lounge food bordered on bland with unhappy staff. The room itself was perfect in every regard as was the spa and pool facilities. There are plenty of excellent hotels in Shanghai. For business on this side of the river I much prefer the grand Hyatt.

Only downside is remote location on Pudong Road. Property is impeccable with beautiful pool and spa and nicely appointed rooms. Service is exceptional.

This was the first time I visited SH and the service that MO provided exceeds my expectation:
1) First the check-in/out procedure at L2 club lounge was efficient;
2) The view was amazing and you could enjoy a nice sunny walk next to the river;
3) The buffets were excellent and so as the package of executive service included;
4) Great location;
5) Swimming pool is very large and spacious;
6) Staff are very kind and provided customer service that paid attention to details (especially Catherine @ L2 - she is always efficient, patient, eloquent, and keen to help!).

You can enjoyed the fabulous river views at the hotel in a leisurely way. Good customer service at restaurant, cafe and swimming pool. Staff are sincere and willing to help. Will recommend to my friends traveling to Shanghai.
